Game 3 Houston @ home who's going

Kanter matched Howard's numbers for scoring and rebounding. He needs to get in a bit better shape to dominate games though.

The Jazz have two problems right now: 1) their perimeter shooting sucks, and 2) they don't have a real 2-way PG. The combination of those two factors leads to congestion in the paint, and our bigs can't get the ball in a position to operate to their advantage.

Worst second half of the season so far.

Haha at the beginning signs of disappointment and drama showing thru. So much for all the pledges of being OK. Go Jazz!

What bothers me is knowing that the "learning" is going to take another 20 games AFTER Burke returns.

I'm loving it.
All the core four showing flashes of greatness.... and we are on our way to getting a superstar next year along with a new coach
Tank

My man! Damn right. All aboard the train to the future. Choo choo boys!!!

I know that many are happy to tank, but I am already starting to be sickened by our perpetual losing. Hayward is not even better than Chandler Parsons. The refs can rot in hell for their support of the NBA royalty, and I am so sick of our players being burned on every drive, Hayward and any of our pgs being the guilty parties more often than not.

Houston packed the paint in the second half, with 4 players squeezed around the paint, and went under every screen, and the Jazz's perimeter players couldn't do anything.

Yup yup. Should have experimented on Clark. He was brought in for 3 pt shooting right?

The losses still hurt to watch, as a fan, but the feeling of futility isn't there for me. Great first half, terrible second one. We need a few perimeter shooters and a real PG. Dennis Lindsay knows this as much as anyone, folks, so hang in there.

Hayward is a good passer for a guy his size. In other respects, he's been looking like a fairly average player. Chandler Parsons put up some big numbers with a lot fewer dribbles.

Well if Hayward keeps playing like this then we will save some money.

To me this lose looked like a lack of experience. Which we will only get better at.

And the way Hayward disappears during the 2nd half it is either the opposing team really knows to do in-game adjustments and Corbin sucks at it or Hayward is really limited. More like an 8 or 9M is best for him right now. But it's only 3 games. Let's see if he "grows up" and be the man.

Couldn't disagree more.

This loss demonstrated how outgunned we are

Houston wasn't more "experienced" or "smarter." Hell, harden and Howard both had bonehead plays. The difference is, they have plenty of weapons. We don't. If burks of kanter aren't scoring..... We don't score.

And if teams sag on us, we don't have a prayer.

We have plenty of decent role players and fringe YMCA players. We don't have any go to players or scorers. Burks is it.

Man there are so many people here that weren't ready for a hard season and can only see the L's. I don't even want to argue with them, because they will drag me down with their stupidity and beat me with experience.

The Jazz were outscored by 27 and were outrebounded by 16 boards in the 2nd half.

The Jazz got pretty shut down after the break.

I agree, I never said that we had enough fire power to win, but our starters still don't have the experience with closing out games. They also have to learn how to play with each other.
