Game 3 Round 1 San Antonio Spurs VS Utah Jazz, Sat. May 5th @ 8pm MT --Official Game Thread--

I bet the starting lineup stays the same. Here is a couple quotes from Locke.

• The starting line-up was outscored 42-10 when it was on the floor in the first half and 16-10 in the 2nd half before Favors checked in for Howard down 31
In this series in the 47 minutes Favors has been on the floor the Jazz have outscored the Spurs 103 to 97. In the other minutes, never mind.

Yes Corbin is a beeping moron.

Corbin said #UtahJazz simply have to execute better. No plans to change starting lineup vs. #Spurs for Game 3.

please god please let Howard get injured before the game starts.
please.

yes screw morals and ethics. i know its bad to wish injury on a player.
but it's the only way.

I can't imagine an NBA coach being this clueless. Hell, at the very least nobody is going to complain when you mix up a lineup that's been absolutely dominated in the first two games.

The Jazz will win this game. By double digits. Book it.

I think the Jazz will win too, but not by double digits. It will be close.

But then again they might losw by double digits. Corbin seems poised to make the same mistakes.

Good news is though that my New York Footbal Giants won the superbowl. At least I can count on one of my teams.

I don't understand this scheduling at all. How does the Dallas-OKC & Indiana-Orlando series both play their 4th game prior to us playing our 3rd?

I was thinking about this the other day, I think it was obvious to the nba planning committee that this would be a sweep... didnt want a team sitting out waiting for the other 7 game series to end for too long.

I'm going to the game... hoping for the win of course, but the Jazz had better at least make it competitive!

if corbin changes nothing he's probably thinking "golly, if my favorite dudes are getting worked that much imagine how my less fav guys will do?" or "they're used to it now, they learned their lesson."

and it's an idiotic decision.

Honestly, I think this is precisely the problem. Another problem I see is that if we go down 0-3 Corbin will be too nervous to make any changes in an elimination game feeling that sitting Howard after he's been in the past 3 games would be too drastic a change for us to build rhythm.

I just hope that Corbin realizes that Al is the worst person to have on the floor versus the Spurs.
But he wont
