What's new

Game #7: Grizzlies at Jazz, Friday 01/06/2012 7:00 MST

agree with a lot of the howard comments, especially since he isnt simply jacking up shots like 2012 will be the last year of existence. had me scratching my head at the signing yet KOC does it again.

Good gritty win. Now I need to see them win on the road. Burks +14, Bell -10, lol.

-Burks sparked this team. He can draw fouls, and he attacks the rim.
- Defense was fun to watch. Tons of blocks, we played mean at times.
- almost forgot about CJ until I saw him pouting on the bench. Awww.
-Raja actually did some things in the 1st half to contribute, and made a 3 pt shot! gasp.
- Kanter bad first half, good second. He was apart of that run in the 3rd QT.
-Sap was really good tonight. Played tough esp in the 2nd half.

I really enjoyed watching this game. Felt like the players played hard and gave an effort. A couple things I noticed was that Josh Howard is showing real potential (i know he was an all star in Dallas but everyone but KOC had written him off) Also seems that players seem to be playing with more energy. I love to see people running hard, playing defense, and stepping up. We are alot deeper then most teams. Favors, Milsap, AJ, Kanter, Evans are a solid 5 bigs. Howard, Hayward, Burks are solid 2/3 (yep i left CJ and Raja out) Harris seems to be picking it up and Watson is a great backup point.

Well hopefully after three straight games at home where they won them all gave them a little bit of a swagger. Take it into Golden State tomorrow and get your first road win.

3 GAME WIN STREAK.

Thought tonight was probably one of the toughest individual matchup Al has to face all year. Gasol is 7'1 and is an immovable 280-ish lbs, who doesn't jump at many fakes.

Yep going to bitch....Why the hell Favors get only 15 minutes?

So he will be fresh for tomorrows game?

Corbin has made it a known he is taking the schedule into account very actively in terms of how he handles PT.

I love what I am seeing, but I have to say that I don't expect the jazz to be good on the road.
We should be able to beat GS tomorrow, but this is a young team and young teams struggle on the road.

Actually, a lot of teams are having a hard time on the road, even the lakers.

Watson, Howard, Millsap and Jefferson made all the offensive plays. We had a very good all around defensive effort. Everyone who played contributed something. Corbin is gaining more and more trust in Burks.

Hayward needs to learn one move: ball fake, one or two dribbles, and pullup jumper, while using his vertical more fully.

This schedule is making a big difference. Look at teams records and the injuries already.

Well unacceptable. I need to evaluate whether I buy NBALP in one more game and I am not convinced I am going to see what I had hoped. I am pouty little bitch, I know.

solid win. The offense shows clear signs of improvement. Defense is starting to make sense to everybody. Happy.
