Game Of Thrones

Another way of looking at it... (trying to feel better about the situation)... is that Sansa has had one of the easiest path so far of all the Starks' children.

Compared to what those other kids have had to endure (near death situations), Sansa has had it pretty easy.

:)

IDK, getting raped and locked in a room every night is way worse than nearly dying.

I remembered Daenerys had to endure something similar in Season 1 and she was stronger for it and is now thriving.

Let's see if this will be worth it for Sansa in the end.

You ever thought about getting raped as a tool for self-improvement?

Seriously. To me, the psychological/emotional crap Sansa has tolerated is just as bad as Arya's perilous journey... maybe worse. None of the other Stark kids were forced to look at their father's head on a spike, or raped by a psychopath after being abandoned by what she considered to be a trusted mentor/advisor. Sansa is going to be every bit the badass Arya and Jon Snow have turned out to be. I predict a massive Stark revenge story arc against the Lannisters and everyone else when everything finally comes full circle.

...and speaking of Jon Snow...

Does anybody else get the sense that the identity of his mother is going to be a pretty significant piece of information in the grand scheme of things? I haven't read a lot of speculation on this-- I don't really visit the GoT fansites anyway-- but I wonder if she'll turn out to have been a Targaryen.

Yeah, I seriously wanted to reach through the computer and smack the **** out of OL for that comment, but just ended up making a lame joke instead.

Not to mention being forced to marry Tyrion and being physically and emotionally abused by Joffrey and then accused of aiding Tyrion in Joffrey's murder. Yeah, Sansa has lived a life of ease.

I want to see Tyrion and the Starks join Deanerys and burn it all to the ground. Deanerys takes the crown and she gives Snow The Wall, the Starks the north and Tyrion Lanister Rock as he supporters.

Oh my...

If you're bored with the show... watch something else. I was entertained by this last episode, and I'm sad that there'll only be 3 more this year. :(

Even sadder that there is no book out.
I was disappointed that they did not drag Cersie through the streets naked like they do in the books. The TV show has very little to do with the Books at this point. Very few of the characters have been following the story lines set forth in the books.
.
Mormont--sort of not really
Tyrion--sort of not really
Little finger/Sansa--Not at all
Jaime--No
Brienne--No
Arya--Probably the closest to the books of all of the characters.
King's landing story--King, Queen, Queen mother, and others are sort of following the books' general storyline but not in the same way.
.
At this point I'm not sure reading the books gives you any extra insight on the show anymore. No telling if they will follow it or just go completely off the rails as they've done a ton already.
Danaeries--Pretty close

For the record I like both the books and the show. It's almost refreshing that I can be surprised by the show even after reading the books. I'm curios how this season finishes up. Because they are getting really close to where the books stopped.

Wow.... so that scene must have come as a total surprise to EVERYONE.

No - because it was obvious they gave Sansa the story line of a fake Arya who Ramsay tortures in the books. So it wasn't a shock that this was coming when book readers found out Sansa was brought back to wed Ramsay.

They still might dude.
In the books they take her and put her away for awhile before the nude street stroll. iirc

I agree
