The season (our misery) can't end soon enough. I'd imagine they fire Ty a day after our regular season ends. If more than a week goes by after it ends and he still hasn't been fired, we should all just embrace the doom of the Jazz.

As for the game tonight, there is a faction of Jazz fans who want us to lose for lotto balls, a faction that just doesn't want us to be embarrassed and lose by too much and the remaining few (myself included) who still would like the Jazz to destroy their opponents.

Burks is ruled out tonight with an ankle injury.

I think I want tacos for lunch.

Doesn't his contract just end after the last game? How would they fire him if he is no longer an employee?

Speaking of tacos,



where can one get a navajo taco along the wasatch front? There used to be a scone-cutters in Ogden when i was a kid, but since it went under, i havent had one since. Any utahns got the knowledge of some good eats?
 
You can't fire a guy that you haven't hired.

As of right now the Jazz do not have a coach for next season. The fact that the Jazz have not extended his contract(and that we have only won 23 games thus far) speaks volumes about their intentions, imo. The Jazz will allow Ty to accept a job at some college or resign to "spend time with his family". After a week we will have heard nothing from the tight lipped Jazz FO about the future HC, it's just how they operate.
 
I can't wait to see the press conference when they let Ty go. I can see DL saying, "Ty is a hard worker and was great for our organization, but we've decided to go another direction." Gail will be crying, Greg will be stuttering, Ty will look good in his suit. It will be epic.
 
My prediction for this game: The lowest actual attendance for a regular season game since the arena opened.

Cantina Southwest in Layton has them and they're pretty good.

There is a scone-cutter on 21st and state in slc. I think I remember seeing one in Layton. I only go there when I'm drunk and I want some smiley fries.

No offense to Ty, because he is a great guy. But this is a billion dollar business with high expectations. Ty isn't anything special, and more below par than anything.

It's time to hold that press conference, shed a few tears, pat a few backs, and move on.
 
Happy to see Burks is gone. We really only need to sit one rotational to good player each game to have almost no chance.
