What's new

Game Thread: Chicago Bulls @ Utah Jazz, 11/24/2014, 7pm MST

You exaggerate. It was knee-level. But it was too fast, and Kanter NEVER anticipates a pass.
It was knee level, you are right.

But it was behind the back and a poor pass and decision at a crucial time.

Don't get me wrong, I don't put any of the blame for the loss on trey, he played great..... but that pass was not a good one and not kanters fault

That pass was unorthodox and unexpected! You don't make pass behind the back in a such a decisive moment!

Let the hate aside for a second!

The pass was bad, standing there sulking while The Bulls had a fast break was 10 TIMES WORSE! Jazz lose this game on a trailer put back Mike Dunleavy - what is he like 40??

I said it last week and I'll say it again - Burke needs to grow the **** up.

last few possession was just bad. trey had a ball and everyone was standing. trey called for a screen, but nobody came to help. just a bad possession. and that pass to kanter was right idea, but trey must realize kanter fumbles the ball alot in various ways

and favors really needed to make that pick and pop shot. that's a bread and butter. he made it all night long, but missed the most important one.

damn the growing pains

Ball was thrown at Kanter's foot. It was a terrible pass.

That said, I'm not disappointed with the loss. I'm actually hoping we have a bunch of these against the better teams. Sure it's nice to win, but just keeping it close against the top teams is great for a young team.

Always throwing s*** against Enes...tonight he played great defense...Noah did pratically nothing...but you always search the nitpick! He had 3 assists as well!

Um, no. That's not me at all. And I do agree that was Burke's mistake. It was a poor pass to a player who doesn't have the best hands or reaction time.

I don't disagree.

Quin needs to involve Kanter in more post-ups... Kanter and Favors were unstoppable tonight. Neither Gasol, Mirotic or Noah could defend Kanter in the post, Jazz needed to play against them inside... Even Booker is playing against Mirotic in the post, but Kanter is not... And they played against each other a lot this game.

I think with Kanter, you have to let him do what he's good at, which is posting up, following drives for putbacks and hitting from mid-range.

A player with slightly below average reflexes secures that with little problem.

Jimmy Butler was halfway down the court before Kanter even realized the pass occurred.

Last two possessions were what we wanted. Favors open at the free throw line is a good shot and Hayward lined up on that three.

Until Kanter becomes a better passer out of the post, I doubt it will happen that much. Kanter just doesn't move the ball fast enough to please Snyder. Same ish with Gobert, but on a more extreme note because Gobert can't space the floor or catch passes.

Enes was dropping passes all night. He also had a critical and1 on Rose in the closing minutes that Gobert would have swatted.

It's the little things... It was a bad but not horrible pass... Had kanter been prepared and looking he had a chance to grab it or at least knock it down... Then only two guys sprint back. Everyone has to sprint back on that one.

Really we lost this game in the first quarter. Why is this team starting so slow. Tough to dig yourself out of a hole every night.

Also there is always a little luck involved in games like this. Brooks hits that long three... Right before that they tried to sub him out. We missed two very make able shots.

If Gobert could have swatted it, why did Rose get an And-1?

There was literally nothing Kanter could have done on that play. If you watched the replay Rose just threw his body into Kanter.
