[SUB][/SUB]Cy, I know you hate me and want to attack at every post. But sorry, Gordon's just not shown he can get stats when it usually matters. Sure, he's hit an occasional big one (like the Cleveland game last year). But he's 0-2 this season. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect your highest-paid player to step up when he's really needed.

OK shooting, but 2 shooting fouls and 2 critical TO's. There's no greatness in Hayward.

Hate to say it, but I am slowly beginning to doubt Quin more and more. I'm not one to look for blame every time we lose, but his lineups at times really look questionable. Hope he tightens it up soon.
 
Grizzlies just had some really nice buckets too. Like how we took the lead (or tied it, dont remember) then Conley hits that 3 in Ingles face with the shotclock at 1. That was a killer. It seemed like every time we tied it or got ahead they had an immediate answer and could never build a lead that we could defend on. They hit the clutch/dagger baskets and we just couldnt find them when we tied it up. Rough night, but these nights happen. I was kind of impressed we where in the game for so long.

He is 0-2? What? Last time I checked we are 4-2 with Hayward this year.

And wtf that gamelog you just posted has him socring 7 points in the last 5 minutes of a game, that is pretty good.
 
Stifle Tower you are the resident Chicken Little takes on jazzfanz. You wait for a bad game to bring it back out. Congratulations, you are a wet blanket.
 
Guys Hayward can't win ball games when the team's other top two scorers are out, his top scoring big leaves after playing 20 minutes (all of which he looks like he is 60 while doing so), and his top defensive big is in foul trouble the entire game and only plays 20 minutes.

I mean, if Hayward cant win under those conditions why the **** even have him on the roster? Cut him now.

I'm going to say it. I think Quin might have put his ego before a win for our team.
 
I get what Quin was saying on the Lyles/Diaw lineup because they did have a really good stretch, but I felt it was pretty clear that wasnt sustainable and Gobert was going to come in for the final 3 or 4 minute stretch, but it didnt happen.
 
Is it just me or is Exum's verticality improving ? He seems to look a little less like Tony Parker grounded to the floor than he did. Ugly game, always gonna have a few of these given the schedule & inuries, just one to shrug off.

Yeah and he gets off the ground really quickly without much gathering. That is the reason why people think he has so much potential. He just has to learn to have some kind of inbetween game to make people respect his shot so they cant just continually sag off him as he drives.
 
Shots were just falling for the Grizz and they out hustled us for some offensive put backs that were costly! They just seemed more hungry and wanted it more!

Remember how Dante was winded all of the time earlier this season and much of his rookie season? He looks like his stamina is improved a ton and he is getting faster and more aggressive because of it.
 
Really missed the Hood/Hill tandem tonight. Hayward and Johnson picked a bad night to go cold. Aside from that, with Favors injury issues and Gobert's lack of girth, Gasol and Randolph pretty much had their way tonight AND they killed us on the boards. If you can't drain your shots you have to do a better job cleaning up the glass. Desperately need an upgrade at backup center. Withey didn't even get off the bench and Diaw though he can body up a little, has no ups and is terrible on the boards.

He looked like he was sucking wind after that last dunk attempt.
