Game Thread - Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Utah Jazz - Thursday March 15th, 2012

And again, who cares about the Jazz and tpups?

Two inept teams playing in March.

Yawn

Then why post here on such a consistent basis? If you wanna talk college ball, go frequent the hundreds of other forums out there.

I never said he was the reason the lead was lost... I said the lineup change was.
I always give Big Al love when it is deserved. Tonight he struggled... its ok he usually is our best scorer... yes he had some put backs in OT and he had some good plays earlier in the game as well. Everyone has some good plays throughout any game duh. Overall tonight i thought he struggled.

The question is will you be able to resist defending him again tonight.... I doubt it because you are not ok with someone believing he struggled in a game.

I can see plain language will not get through to you.

I guess you and craig think that the Al haters only see when he misses shots, doesn't play defense, doesn't pass etc.
But the same can be said for you and craig.... You guys only seem to see when he makes shots, takes charges, and gets assists.

Myself and the majority of guys in this message board see both the good and the bad with Al.

Uh, no.
Even when Al plays well, the Al-haters still hate him. You can look back at the threads. They always come up with something.
"Yeah, he scored 33, but it was against a bad team"
"Yeah, but he took a lot of shots"
"Yeah, but his defense still sucks"
I could go on...

The reason why I stick up for Al, is because people blame him for things that they never blame other players for. It's extremely skewed.

Al didn't have a great great game tonight, but it seemed like he deferred to others who were playing great.
He made some good defensive plays, and his putback in OT was huge.
Also, look at the stats. He shot almost the same percentage as Millsap did. He also got 13 rebounds.

Aj made no good defensive plays. Not hating just saying what I saw. Feel free to disagree. He is reaching Boozer status IMO

We were winning by 12 with like, 3 or 4 minutes left. Al comes in, Favors comes out...4 minutes later, hello overtime! Coincidence? I think not.

I didn't see the end, but, I'm guessing as soon as Jefferson came in the other teams guards were able to attack the rim with impunity. It's not a coincidence in my book, I think we've seen this pattern many times this season where as soon as Jefferson comes back in the other team goes on a run.

I don't really mind that much. I'd prefer we lose as many as possible myself. So, if we want to close games with team tank, I'm ok with that.

I'm not ok with tanking...I think that's dumb. I just want to play the young guys and try to win with them. If we win with them, that's awesome. If we lose with them, at least they're getting experience. However them getting mediocre playing time on a mediocre team isn't helping anybody. Hopefully this game is a sign of how the rest of the season will go...I guess we'll find out.

You weren't paying attention. Al took a great charge in the first half, had a couple of blocks.

But most improtant: At the end of regulation, when Ridnour was wide open on the corner and shot a three that would have won the game, Al closed in on him and forced him into an air ball.

.

Actually, the Tpups shot a bunch of threes. Can't blame Al for that....or can you?

And Burkes and Gordon and Millsap and Harris were still in there...just sayin

Clearly you weren't paying attention, Al didn't have any blocks tonight.
