Game Thread: Utah Jazz @ NY Knicks 2/6/12, 5:30 MST

Typical jazz road game. No energy, turnovers galore, a bunch of weak a jumpers (no driving), and pathetic defense.

some Lin dude is looking like Steve Nash. Tyson Chandler is looking like Shaq.

And our PG play still lacks.... It's pretty obvious that Devin Harris is our 3rd best PG. If possible, send him to the Dleague...

If the Jazz have one fatal flaw this year (ok, two with poor free throw shooting) it's their cavalier passing. I don't think I've ever seen such poor passing by a Jazz team in the three decades I've followed them.
 
How obvious is it becoming that Hayward plays much, much better at SG than at SF. Corbin needs to realize that he has to play him there instead of Bell.

It's totally the refs' fault.

I blame the refs for our sub .400 shooting, 0-4 3 point shooting, and 13 turnovers (with time still remaining in the first half). I mean, who cares that we've shot more than twice as many FTs as they have? And have called 4 more fouls on them than on us. The refs are screwing us over! It's the refs' fault for us holding them to 50 % shooting.

Stupid Stern! Always trying to screw us over!

If only we had good refs, we'd be up by 15 and not them!

Anyone who has watched the Jazz for the past 6 years knows how this team plays on the road....

The more things change, THE WAY THEY STAY THE SAME!!!

Utah will win no problem if they just play harder on D. Rotations sucking huge.
 
Just because we complain about some bad calls does not mean we are blaming the refs for us losing.


Can some of you get that through your thick heads?
 
My friend texted me from MSG about a half an hour before the game started. He sits about 10 rows back behind the basket where The Jazz shot in the first half. He told me at least half the Jazz players looked hung over during the shoot around. I thought he was just busting my balls; but after that performance he may have been telling the truth.
 
Lets leave the white tent pole open all night. He can't drive, can't jump, can't pass. All he can do is shoot open jumpers, so let's let him do just that.

It's what the jazz always did with Danny Ferry. I swear, Ferry must have sent the jazz valentines cards for leaving him open so much
 
That was some of the worst basketball I've ever seen. Corbin should just sit all the hungover players. This is really embarrassing to watch.
 
Alema thinks that Carmello being out means the Jazz should win. My observation is that Carmello is the type of player that naturally makes a team worse, so I don't consider his injury as good news for the Jazz.
