Game Thread: Utah Jazz @ NY Knicks 2/6/12, 5:30 MST

Novak is amazing. How can guy sit on the bench for years step on the floor and know down these shots?

He hit a shot from the right elbow late in the first half where he dribbled once and I thought Millsap was going to fall on his ***.

I love Millsap as much as everyone else around here; but if he comes out like this in the second half for the first 3 or 4 minutes he should be benched for the rest of his game.

i blame this on weak competition.this is the only explanation i have. and the chinese reversed engineering copy of derrick rose

....so who on the Jazz are sabotaging this pathetic showing? Getting blown out by the Knicks who are playing without there two best players??? Pathetic.

My friend texted me from MSG about a half an hour before the game started. He sits about 10 rows back behind the basket where The Jazz shot in the first half. He told me at least half the Jazz players looked hung over during the shoot around. I thought he was just busting my balls; but after that performance he may have been telling the truth.

We should put in all our players under 21 and see if the defense improves.

Ty baffles me. Why not play Tinsley when your point guards suck. Why play Hayward at 3 when he played so well at the 2. Why play Harris at all.

I wonder if Millsap has an injury that he isn't telling anyone about? Of course he has done this every year since his rookie season, so maybe he is in his February fade. I sure as hell hope not; he has played well this year.

NY announcers are singing Bavetta's praises. Gee, what a surprise. They should love him.
Everyone else calls him Knick Bavetta

Another charge where the defender never set his feet, and the NY announcers agree

The NBA has become like the college game, where defenders jump in front of players and fall down and get charges.

Jefferson should have flopped. Probably would have gotten a call.

The NBA is going to turn into the National Floppers League if this keeps up

Jefferson only Jazz player who wants to be there. And anyway the Jazz can land NY's PG? He's the high IQ distributor we've been looking for.

Haris has been doing a better job staying in front of Lin is half, but pick and roll defense still not good obviously. Also more work in the paint this half to cut into the deficit, but there's still no one who can hit a jumper right now.
