Sadly Burke is not really a PG, he is more of a SG in a PG body... That dude is going to be an offensive dynamo for second units, but for that he needs to have decentish %. If he continues with % like those, he is going to quickly find himself in a DJ Augustin pre Bulls resurrection situation.

Watching the game now. I was tired and went to bed at halftime. Anyway, I like some close losses like this. It's showing we're competitive and personally, I'd like to win some but only every so often to build confidence and show progress (29 win pace compared to 25 last year) while still losing the majority of them to also help with the tank.

As a tangential point, our point differential this year is -2.9 which is 9th worst in the league. Last year it was -7.2 which was third worst in the league. That's a monumental difference and shows just how much more competitive we are on a night in night out basis this season. To me, in the western conference, as the third youngest team in the entire NBA, with one of our top five scorers (Burks) going down for the year and Hood pretty much being MIA due to injuries too, AND with a new system to learn, that's really pretty impressive.

This season is going exactly to plan imo. Noticeable individual and team growth yet still in it to get a very high draft pick.

Chris Paul is the most unlikable one of them all.

Paul is the only one on the team that plays hard on both ends of the floor. The rest of the team coasts on defense until they go down by a few baskets or it's crunch time.

This team REALLY could have used Paul Pierce badly. They have no true leadership on the team. No one to look to at crunch time. No one to look to when things get tough. No one who will kick everyone in the *** when they get lazy and unfocused.

Throw Pierce in the starting lineup and they're a legit contender. Right now they'll be lucky to get out of the first round.

Jordan is the best defender on the team. CP3 is allowed to hack the shot out of everyone

**** matt barnes

I hate Barnes and Griffen so much. I wanted to rush the court and punch them both. Probably would have ended with Barners doing a flying/slide punch and knocking me out cold ala Jermaine Oneal in Detroit.

Our bigs are becoming so god damn good. Favors is scary good when he plays with fire, same with Kanter. Rudy is rubbing off on them both on defense and intensity. Hayward is solid, I'd be ok with Trey and Jingles as bench guys. If we just had two worth while guards right now we'd be a very good team. Hopefully Exum and Burks are those two guys.
