Wish I could have seen the game, but it was blocked from me even though I have the sports package on Directv and the game was only on Root instead of NBATv. Odd. I guess the NBA/Jazz/whoever really protects their regional markets for pre-season NBA games.
Seemed like a good win for the Jazz, though it also looks like the Clippers didn't play their main guys. Still, the Jazz beat them there with most of those guys playing so all this does is make me psyched for the upcoming season even more.

The thing about Joe Johnson is that he seems to move at a completely different pace than everyone else on the team. Once he learns the offense he should be a lot better but he is probably going to have the biggest transition period.
I'm not worried. He's gonna close games for us this year with that 1-on-1 move of his.

Harrison Barnes has been an absolute beast in the pre-season. He's made a staggering 26% of his shot attempts. Think about that for the second. Once in every four possessions where he takes a shot, he's nailing it.
Did anyone ever clamor for Exum to be traded?

There've definitely been people who said he was a bust and the Jazz needed to move him. I think I know who some of those people were but I'm not going to bother trying to look up proof.

Having Hill start and Exum clean up the 2nd unit is genius. It's also needed. Let Exum gain confidence against inferior competition, and develop.
Hill can lead the team until Dante is ready to take over. Basically I just love how we've taken the pressure off Dante. Let him focus on his conditioning,
and development. He is going to shine in this role.
While I was foaming at the mouth watching Diaw highlight videos this summer, now I'm seeing it live. I love passing, and Diaw brings it.
Mack and Neto seem to be a wash. I still dont like Mack's game as much for some reason. Neto is a more willing passer. It will be sad if we have to let Neto go.

True, but they have to stay healthy too. That goes for the Spurs as well. If everything goes well for us, and other teams have bad luck who knows.
