Gamethread: jazz in Milwaukee playing "just one game" at 18:00

At least it was Burks out there learning a lesson he won't forget, instead of one of our dead-ender vets.

Yeah, I wish I could know if Corbin let them know what was what in the situation. Gameplan should have been chase off 3pt line and foul when they get by, then chase off the 3pt line and make them make a shot (don't foul). The way Burks was playing the situation it looked like he was scared about the drive. I can't remember if their was a TO called before the possession or not, so maybe coaches didn't have time to fully explain the scenario, but Burks, or someone on the court should know and tell everyone. I guess that goes to the lack of leadership amongst the players.

Yep Corbin told Burks NOT to guard the 3 ball, told Millsap to miss that FT (and his other misses earlier) he told him to go all hero ball and TO and/or get blocked over and over and over. Good thing Hayward didn't listen to him and ran some semblance of an offensive system when he assisted on Kanter score, he also told the refs to go hard on Hayward to make him learn how to play the game and told Hayward pull up jumpers are for wussies. He also told them to TO over 30 times but luckily the whole team didn't pay full attention and only got 21 TO's.

The player interviews are totally fake they are not all negative and realistic like this board they are all positive. For example it is obvious to everyone that D Carroll hates Corbin for what he has done for his career so he totally faked an interview saying positive things about Corbin and that Burks was supposed to be guarding against the 3 and he will learn from this and that Hayward will learn if the calls aren't going his way to maybe pull up for a 5' shot instead of forcing it and that when Ellis was going off inside and out that he needs to deny him the ball better.
All that totally fake we all know it is Corbin's fault for the reasons I stated earlier.

For the record I hope to god that when Mo comes back that Watson no longer starts
or is the back up
or is the 3rd string PG
or plays minutes
or plays any minutes for the Jazz E V E R again.
But maybe comes back as a coach one day.

In a local radio interview (1320) Carroll seemed to say that he was supposed to but it was just a learning moment for him.

Just because Corbin doesn't tell the players to deliberately screw up doesn't mean he's a good coach...

Hornacek said that Burks screwed that one up, and that they talked about it at practice today.

this might be the longest game thread ever.
even though jaz zlost by 1 point and various stupid mistakes.
it was a learning experience for the young ones.
it was exiting for us jazz fanz.
