And if you thought there was any hope there is this now:

David Locke ‏@Lockedonsports 2m
Tony Parker will return tonight against the Jazz.

Officially Parker is active and available. I translated that to will return against Jazz.

A good strategy for teams who have stars coming back from injury is to make your star play against a bad team to boost their confidence on their injury holding up.
We are that bad team.

I'll be rooting for the upset! So what if the Spurs are WAY better than the Jazz? So what if Parker is coming back? So what if Duncan has been drinking from the fountain of youth lately? Stranger things have happned than the Jazz winning in San Antonio!

I'll let you know when I think of an example.

You are one of my favorite posters on this forum.

The Jazz' chances of winning this game are equal to the seconds I will spend watching it: Zero.

I'm going to listen/watch as always.

Go Jazz.

I've made a small and incomplete list of reasons why I will be tuning in:
--What player combinations will Ty use this time.
--Will any of the veterans get all diva about not starting, playing 30+, or finishing the game?
--I want to see the Kanter makes it over/under 6 minutes. (I'm betting over)
--Maybe, maybe Jeremy Evans will play. Dude has game, much more than just dunks.
--One night, one of these young guys is going to snap and yell at the vets who aren't getting it done, will it be tonight?
--If the Jazz struggle badly again, the announcers feel less inclinded to defend them and actually start saying who is breaking down.
--Miracles happen, and the Jazz need one.
