I honestly see no benefits to winning this game. It would sure be nice to see the Jazz compete wire to wire, though.how ****ty would it feel to be a pelican fan, and lose to the jazz twice - their only 2 wins - please make this happen.

The only benefit I see is so our players don't go freaking crazy and end up wanting to bell on the organization.
He has to be better than a Garrett, Lucas and Burks combo at PG.
I don't think there's much risk of any of them Roger Belling on us (and I don't think it's likely that they will bail on us either). On top of that, when it comes time for them to decide their future they aren't going to be thinking all the way back to a Pelican game in November. It's much more likely that they give weight to how things were trending in March. I'd rather lose now and win then. The only benefit I see is so our players don't go freaking crazy and end up wanting to bell on the organization.

But why should the players get mad at the organization. All they did was give the reigns to them. Who is to blame for the losses? Are they not capable of winning NBA games? I love the tank. But if our young guys are thinking, "Man we must be tanking, because they started ME and i'm terrible. I hate this FO." Then they shouldn't be in the NBA.
