Interested to hear how the 76ers ran the price up this far for Hill.. This move is absurd..
Lindsey got bamboozled, Trey Burke style.
His assist numbers have always been poor. I actually did not realize how poor they are.

Fair enough. I'm ok with the trade.Well ya. Like others said, it's not a no-brainer. We gave up a good asset for a possible one year rental. That would not be ideal. But, since he's an aging player, I think we have more of a chance at signing him long-term to a reasonable contract if we end up with a legit playoffs team.
I guess we'll see how things go down. But I am excited about this trade.
Oh and to your second point is there a chance in hell that the jazz could have a good playoff team this coming season and keep the #12 pick without getting hill? Could the jazz get a free agent this summer?
first and foremost I;m a fan of basketball, secondly I'm a fan of competition, thirdly I'm an even keeled bettor who doesn't take into account favoritism..Says a Knick fan haha
George Hill is an okay player. Better suited coming off a bench. Bit of a chucker. It is a move but not a playoff MAKING MOVE.
Good responseI don't know. It's late lottery, so any prospect we would have drafted could not have helped us significantly for another year or two. I don't wanna keep rolling the dice with a "championship or nothing" mentality. I want to improve our current core to become a good team that can beat anyone on any given night. Just a team I enjoy watching, and one that is respected around the league.

Believe what you want tho.
Not trying to convince ya of anything.
these silly team allegiances are akin to housewives rooting for their favorite actors in day-time soaps, the way I see it. Thats certainly reflected on this forum.
Calling this a weak draft is just echoing the thoughts of others, it's far to presumptuous for me to buy at this point in time...
This move makes less sense than drafting Wade Baldwin 12th..
Infact the only legit reason on this move is to appease Hayward..
I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything either. Just sharing my thoughts.

I'm probably a little late discussing this, but why wouldn't we just go directly to Atlanta and offer the #12 for Teague? Why even include Indy?
