You're a pretty sharp and level-headed dude. Except when it comes to this subject.

If your daughter, once a bit older, asked you why you called someone a girl for doing something weak and pathetic. Would you tell her to stop being so PC and get a sense of humor? Or would you explain that being a girl doesn't inherently make you inferior in any way, thus this was an inappropriate thing to say?
 
Jazz are beat up. Everybody is less than 100%. Rudy, Favs, Hill, Hayward never says a word, but wouldn't surprised. Hood, the list goes on. They rested all they could until the playoffs, not they have pushed it and I won't be surprised to see guys going down again.

I hope Exum gets some serious burn. I'd like to see how he fares defending these guys. Also our wings are fine to run the offense. No need for Exum to handle the ball extensively.

Unfortunately common sense is anything but common. There are reasons why companies train people on how to not openly sexually harass each other.

It's crass. That's it. As is calling someone an *******. I'm with you on wages and true belittling of women but we're not talking about women we are talking about anotomical features of the human body.

Srsly I'm the one dude here that thinks that it is only a matter of time until we see a woman on an NBA roster. I will never buy that women are not equal to men. I will not treat women as weak minded overly sensitive people who cannot handle a crass topic because of their gender. In my experience that just simply is not the case. I understand that you are a woman and I am not but I think that there are greater differences between us that account for our differing reactions. You seem to have a level of manners and decorum that I do not. I am crass and honest because that is how the people that I know,regardless of gender, behave. I know strong women, they are all I know.

I fully acknowledge that in many aspects men are just stupid. It isn't even a point of debate or contention.

I hope I won't need to explain that to her. I hope that she will be strong enough to not let silly jokes and comments get her down about herself. I hope she will learn that sometimes people say inappropriate things and not to get too riled up about it.

I'm definitely gonna teach her the sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me motto that i was taught growing up. Knowing that sometimes words do hurt but to pick your battles (when to allow them to hurt). I hope that if it's just a joke that isn't even directed at her that she will choose to let it just roll off her back.

You didn't read the link yet? You seem to believe women can't express misogyny. That's simply not true. Now you've had one of the only women who posts here point out that it offends her and you're going to double down? Is it really so hard not to employ misogynist jokes on a message board? Is it really that important to you?
