George Hill's replacement - Westbrook, CP3, or Paul George?

That is my worst nightmare. I'd rather let Hill walk and ship Favors off for picks then be in cap hell with no ability to maneuver. That is slamming the window shut on our championship chances with this group.

Jazz will free up about 20 million with Withey, Diaw, Burks and Mack leaving. That helps. Plus the Jazz have multiple draft picks over the next 3 seasons. Including 5 1st rounders.

I feel like we're bringing Boris back, isn't he on a team option for next season?

Team option. No way can we justify picking that up. He may be back on a minimum deal, though. I don't know that there's a huge market for him but I'd be glad to take him back at the minimum as a chemistry guy.

Actually, it looks like it's just not guaranteed. It becomes guaranteed July 15, so he is likely trade fodder.

Replacing Hill with Westbrook or Paul would put us on the level of the Warriors. Imagine a Westbrook/Durant battle in the WCF between the Jazz and Warriors. It would be glorious.

Westbrook would be great since it would also leave that d-bag Kanter on one of the worst teams in the league, while the best player on the team he left us for helps lead us to a championship.

I might be alone but I have no interest in Bledsoe. He's a highly inefficient scorer and can't stay healthy to save his life. I don't see how he gets us any closer to a championship.

I'm also not sure why people are high on Bledsoe. I'd much rather have Hill than Bledsoe.

I'd take Hill over Bledsoe any day if money wasn't an issue. However i'd take Bledsoe for 14 million a year for the next 3 years over a maxed out 25+ million for Hill. Bledsoe has always been a solid defensive player, but his 3pt% is much weaker than I'd want for our point guard.

Just like last season DL needs to improve the roster yet again. PF top to bottom is an obvious position to improve. Jazz have shown that this squad is great but not yet elite. there is 1 or 2 more steps. Jazz need to push and make a big pitch to Hayward.

Burks' contract, a.k.a. The Worst Contract in the League, is through 2019. They aren't trading our mutt for anything of value.

It's not about return value. It's about freeing up that money to apply to someone else. Yes, the Jazz will have to pay to do so. Just like the GS pick Utah got for Beidrins.

Right!

You switch Hill, who has been great mind you, with CP3 and this is the 2nd seed in the west and a championship contender easy. I'd say the 2nd best team in the league and a legit option to beat GSW.

I'd take Westbrook. Can you imagine Rudy's rim running with either him or CP3 at the point though? Just when I thought CP3 was going into decline, he's came in and demolished us this series.

Yuck why? Over the word "perfect" or bringing them back at all?

Westbrook would be amazing with Gobert as well. Especially with shooters like Hayward, Ingles, Hood and JJ around them.

But isn't Westbrook under contract?
