Gerald Wallace on the Block...

Stephen Jackson may be the better fit than Wallace... Wallace will need to spend more time than Jackson learning the system. Jackson can just shoot and spread the floor.

Since Jordan is part of the mix in decision making maybe the Jazz can take advantage of it and instead of losing AK somehow work Hayward (which people have joking said he's Adam Morrison part deux), draft picks and whatever to make the salaries match.
*besides MJ that ******** MJ owes the Jazz*

*edit, I'm being facetious of course*

Reason's Jazz wouldn't/couldn't/shouldn't make this trade? Wallace would make a filthy starting 5. He's one of the few I would consider giving AK up for, and AK's expiring has got to be somewhat attractive to the Polecats...

I'm pro this trade. Make it happen. We'd probably have to eat Nazr Mohammad's contract(expiring) but it's so worth it for this guy. Shooting 32% from the field this year... 37 last year. Rebounds, blocks shots, steals, and 2.5 assists a game.

I hate myself right now, because I love me some AK... But Wallace is fantastic.

Isn't the point of a trade to make our team better?
What?

The 8 man rotation:

Bigs: AJ + Millsap + Nazr > AJ + Millsap + Elson (I realize Memo is back now)
Wings: Crash + Jax + CJ >> AK + Raja + CJ
Points: Deron + Earl = Deron + Earl

and with Nazr expiring, the Jazz wouldn't have to unload salary this coming offseason. What's not to like? The Bobcats would never agree to this trade.

The nastiness alone would scare most opponents into submission. A team full of competitors. Sloan would soil himself.

How would it lead to any more shuffling than is going on now? Carrol doesn't need to be given minutes.

Dude your trade makes the Jazz a lot worse. We're not getting rid of Raja, Memo, and AK when they are probably our 3rd-6th best players, especially all in 1 trade.

Don't want Jackson. Love Wallace, but I don't see how we can get him with what we have. There will be serious competition for his services.

Well, Wallace would likely be the Jazz's 2nd best player and Jax the 5th. Currently, as I see it, the Jazz's strength is up front, especially with Memo coming back, while their obvious weakness is on the wing. Even if the Jazz are giving up roughly equal, or even more talent (I don't think so), the improvement in the wing rotation easily offsets the weakening of the big rotation IMO.

Plenty of room to disagree here, but Wallace won't be cheap.

I say we go get Wallace because he would be a player on our team!

I would love to get Wallace. I consider myself and AK fan and losing him for Wallace would not hurt my feeling's at all.
