What's new

GM #9: 11/12/2014 - Utah Jazz(3-5) @ Atlanta Hawks(3-3) [5.30 PM MDT, 7.30 PM ET and 1.30 AM CET]

Should be a good game. Hawks seem to play us well in their arena. We can beat this team if we are on our game. I predict a Burke Trey for the win.

Burke needs to watch everything Teague does - because he'll be looking at his ceiling. Not a very good shooter or a dynamic passer but he knows how to make the other players on the floor better.

DMC out makes things a little interesting. I guess Atlanta starts Thabo at the 2 and moves Korver to the 3. Atlanta is not a very deep team or a good rebounding team to begin with - I think this gives Utah a fair chance although they'll have to play way better than they did the first two games of this road trip.

Korver's range has gotten ridiculous - he's like Pistol Pete at LSU. Watched parts of the Hawks-Knicks back to back. You really need to have a hand in his face from 30 feet out now.

I wish. Teague has much better floor speed than Trey, though, which can't be underemphasized.

Honestly....

It's time for Burke to step up and have a good game... Srsly it's not like these teams have blackmail stuff on him, he shouldn't be playing this bad...

And Burks, while playing solid, is capable of much more... I'm looking for him to stand out tonight and add some quality along side Hayward!!!

If you have any knowledge of the dumpin system then you would know he has a lot of backed up dump that he is ready to dump.
Lolololololololol.

For some reason I feel like Quin might run some more pick and rolls and allow Trey to dribble the ball more than usual in the first quarter to get his confidence back. I just have a gut feeling that today's game is the day Trey breaks out of his slump. Might not break the slump permanently, but he'll have a good game.

I hope Trey and Schroder play their best.

Ill be the first one to say i was wrong if it's the case, but I expect Dennis to really hassle Trey's dribble, hes averaging 4 steals per 36mins. Ill be impressed if Trey can slip past him with a crossover. I'm also expecting Trey to offer little to no resistance, vs Schroder or Teague in P'n'R defense.

Tons of story-lines in this game, still, Atlanta wins by 15.

Mike Scott also won't play.

Scott and Carroll are the Hawks 2nd and 3rd best 3pt shooters thus far.

Atlanta is the #1 3pt shooting team in %, though with those 2 out Korver is the only 3pt shooter on the team shooting over 32%. You really only have to guard Korver on the perimeter. Sag off every wing/guard and give respectable closeouts to Antic/Millsap.
