What's new

Go HARD!

For both I'd say we give up either Burks or Hayward. They're not untouchable as far as I'm concerned.. but I'm not sure I wouldn't rather get aggressive in '14.

I'd be okay throwing in Burks, probably not Hayward. In 2014, anything goes, though.

I sAy go for rondo.... Offer Boston one of our picks this year and our pick next year!!!

Considering Clippers owner Donald Sterling is a racist piece of ****, I'd try to convince CP3 to leave. If I were a black superstar then I'd make it a goal to screw him over every way possible.

Step 1 - Fire all Jazz management and coaches

Step 2 - Hire smart people

That's it. That's how you win a championship.

Watching the playoffs we obviously need more than a little luck in this draft.

Let's make bold moves to become contenders. What's your list and let's effect change and bring a banner to ESA.
No. Just need a new coach and seasoning for c4 and a pg.

drinking, I assume has commenced.

ahhhhhhhh, the irony....

Convince CP3 Sterling is a racist and ask him to come to a place that is 10% black. Love it.

I'm leery with the knee on top of his shooting. If Pierce comes with him then it's automatic, but don't see how the Jazz offer enough. Let's find a way to move up to #1 and give them our next year pick along with the 2016.

Pretty simple really..

Here's a do-able plan EVERYONE can agree on:

- Trade with Dallas to get #13 and use to it get Schroeder (future starting PG)

- Take Steven Adams at #14 (future 3rd Big)

- Play young guys heavy minutes next season - tank HARD right at the end.

- Top #3 pick - take Wiggins/Jabari

Lineup '14/'15 season:

Schroeder
Hayward (Burks 6th man)
Jabari/Wiggins
Favors
Kanter (Adams 3rd big)

Young, exciting group of guys rivaling OKC. Favors, Hayward & Kanter are solid starters. Schroeder solid PG = Parker Lite. Burks = Harden Lite. Adams is solid back up big, great defensive anchor with a consistent 12 foot jumper. All the players here are 2-way players, all can defend & score.

Offense
- Inside out. Favors / Kanter tearing it up inside. Wiggins/Jabari wing scorer. Hayward 3pt shooting. Schroeder facilitator - drive & dish.

Defense
- Schroeder great on-ball defense. Solid wing defense. TREMENDOUS inside presence with Favors & Kanter potential BEAST ala Memphis/OKC.

Conclusion

This plan is doable, achievable, and won't break the bank. We get exciting bball in 13/14 with the young guys. In 14/15 - WHOAH - Easily 3-4 best team in the West.

I'd be pretty aggressive in trying to trade up for Shabazz or Burke. If that doesn't happen, I pray Schröder falls.

If Schroeder falls to #14, what do you think about then trading Burks and #21 to get 'Bazz from whomever drafted him?

We may be young an inexperienced, but that would be a fun team to roll out next year:

Schroeder
Bazz
Hayward
Kanter
Favors

Now that's going HARD!

Thank heavens they now have a little blue pill for that!

My body is a temple. If my extensive tantric training doesn't work...well, we're gonna get screwed anyway might as well give it the old college try.

I really believe Schroeder is the answer for us at pg. I also think Shabazz is a bust waiting to happen. There is nothing in his make up and athleticism that says he will be able to compete at the SF at the next level. Espn did an underated and overated write up the other day and Bazz was at the top of their list to bust out... and I agree from what I watched at the combine and on film he is living off of the missed forecasting last year that he would be the #1 pick. Remember he was labeled as the #1 pick to be last year for this years draft before anyone knew he was actually a year older than all the other people he was playing against in HS. He will slip I believe and the Jazz will be wise to pass.

My hope is that the Jazz take on the contract of Shawn Marion so that Cuban can try for the double free agent acquisition and give the Jazz #13 for our cap space... then with picks #13 and #14 we can get whichever big slips (I am hoping for Len or Zeller and then taking Schroeder with #14).

Too awesome.

Trade our second for Marion and the #13. Then use Burks, the 21 and Marvin (salary dump) to make sure tha we get Shabazz and Schroeder.

See where this starting lineup takes you:

Schroeder
Shabazz
Hayward
Favors
Kanter

If it takes you to the lottery, trade up to 2 of those for the guy you dream of. If you get to the playoffs, dream of titles.

Lineup is pretty much set sans one player. Burks at the 1, Hayward on the wing, kanter and favors in the post. Now do whatever possible to add Otto porter to that lineup and it's good to go. I love defense.
