Burks took 3 shots and played 13 minutes u gotta be heavily biased if you think rudy is infering he's the problem..
Yeah, he's talking about the guy who took 3 shots. The only other bad *** on the team. Lol dumbasses.
Gobert wants to have teammates that play winning basketball. Both Hill and Burks are into hero ball.
We miss a Kirilenko type of player that can help the team to win games even without being considered on offense.
I'm glad Gobert made these statements before the playoffs.
I'm glad your glad he made these statements in the media. What good does it do to embarrass teammates in public. All that does is divide a locker room. Poor choice at how to handle things.

Burks was moving away from the ball when rudy passed it (he shouldnt have made the pass or if he was going to then he should have put some mustard on it) and had to stop his momentum and come back to the ball (which he tried to do) and the defender was already headed towards the ball and rudy threw the pass way too soft.I'm sure Burks is a big part of what he's referring too. Didn't you see him yelling at Burks in the 3rd qtr after he threw an inbounds pass to Burks and it got deflected out for a turnover because Alec didn't come back to the ball?
Except in the Clippers game he chewed Joe twice after not covering Gobert's man after Rudy rotated to help.Joe Johnson is one of the very few players that I'm confident Rudy is not referring to.

He's right, our offense has become one or two passes then a three or a missed contested layup. I even said it during the game in the game day thread that our passes looked forced instead of in a flow.
On defense I've complained all year how nobody is ever there to help Rudy. They expect Rudy to help but are out of position when the helper(Rudy) need help.
Good to see a little leadership.

If you hear all this it doesn't sound so badMore Gobert's interview :
"I think everybody needs to think about making plays for the team, making winning plays, before thinking about how many points we're going to score and stuff like that,"
"Everybody has to be ready to sacrifice. In the playoffs, it's not going to be pretty. There's going to be some games where you don't score, but are you going to take a charge for a teammate? Are you going to come and box out DeAndre [Jordan] for a teammate?
"It works with all of us. And we do it, we do it, but we do it by stretches. We need to do it right from the beginning of the game. I think when we do that, we're very, very, very good."
"Gordon is going to be fine, he's human. There's going to be some games where he don't make shots. I keep telling him to stay aggressive and try to make the right play and everything comes. I think he did a good job in the second half. We've just got to be there for each other."
I think if you read all of it, not just the part the press chose to run with, it's not as harsh.I'm glad your glad he made these statements in the media. What good does it do to embarrass teammates in public. All that does is divide a locker room. Poor choice at how to handle things.
