Gobert update thread

After seeing the video if he was hurt badly Jazz would not let him even attempt what he is doing.
This is a good sign he will be back sooner than later.

Seriously though, this is all the churro's fault. There is some bad juju with that dessert. We would be better to never speak of it again. The churro has done nothing but bring us pain and suffering, we need to trade it to the Washington Wizards.

1-0.

He should sit till AT LEAST game 4. Even at worse case scenario that would put us at 2-1.

Wait if he sits game 4 then the worst case is 2-1? 2+1=4?
Worst case would be 3-1 i think. If LA won games 2, 3, and 4.

If doctors tell Rudy he can't hurt knee any worse by playing he will give it a try for game three
Rudy is the modern day Willis Reed and team will go berserk when he takes the floor

It's times like these that I wished 'Stifle Tower' the Jazzfanz poster is still posting here. His wife is an experienced nurse (in LA?) and she knows quite a bit about injuries and surgeries and recovery time.

He often posted about approximate recovery times and such.

Here's a quick one I threw together.

Didn't he self ban?

Adrenaline and heart were the 2 major factors that got us the win in LA. I have a bad feeling we'll need more than this tomorrow to beat them again and he'll be sitting on the sidelines injured.
I hope he makes a comeback this series as we all know we desperately need him to play however not at the expense of any long term complications later.
Think we might be playing atleast 3 games without him as a minimum after hearing an injury update

Wtf? Does he have that shot? He'd be an MVP if he could do that in games. Every time he's ever pulled up I feel likes it's been an air ball. But those midrange shots look pretty decent to me.

Summer project Rudy!
Agreed. His outside shot looks really good in that video...if he starts hitting those consistently in games, he suddenly becomes a very deadly pick & roll threat. He'll easily become a 20+ ppg scorer in the league and better than Dwight Howard ever was.

The Clippers are in a must-win situation. Playing without Gobert puts even that much more pressure on them, more worried about dropping the second at home to a Gobert-less Jazz. Meanwhile the pressure is off us -- we needed a split and we already got it. Between Hayward, Hill and Hood, someone should have a good offensive game. We'll need to crash the boards and rely on Withey.
