I did like the one about "The problem with Socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people's money".

Rand Paul trading on his father's reputation as a straight shooter is about the closest thing we have to a real person in politics this election cycle. I prefer Ted Cruz because overall he represents my own views the best. I rank Ted Cruz as certain to take a bullet if elected in our day of vested interests, and I have to credit him as having the guts to stand up and try to re-instate a lot of American values. Why do we need the children of immigrants to do this for us? Because it's only those who have personal or at least second-hand experience with worse governments who can see what we are doing to ourselves in going down to merely unprincipled, corrupt politics like most other countries have been for decades. I know I'm fishing deep for hope, but the best hope this country has is that the wave of immigrants today will make the turn towards propagating the value of opportunity and hard work once again in our country. . . .the worst thing about this wave is that they are coming from some of the most Marxist school systems on the planet, and it might take a while for them to realize they've been sold a crock.

If you like what you see in Europe, or Canada, or Cuba. . . . Hillary will take you there.

Yes, her aggressive interventionist foreign policy, which I think is the biggest problem this country faces. I support our troops as much as any American, does it mean that I support putting their lives at risk so deliberately? Of course not. She's submissive, face it. Submissive to the ones who are really pulling the strings. The more money the US government needs to borrow from the Fed to wage unnecessary avoidable military interventions the bigger this entity gets. Some hidden interests there I tell you.

I also dare you to justify her aggressive outsourcing policy in front of the over 200 former coworkers of mine who were sent home when I was working for HP because the company moved it all to India for cheaper labor. As soon as she opens her mouth it smells of putrid hypocrisy and lies.

Establishing a no-fly zone in an area where there are Russian planes in the skies doesn't sound like a very intelligent nor conservative approach in terms of foreign policies. Enlighten me if you think that I'm wrong and that the US Military needs to have a presence in every international conflict that takes place thousands of miles away from our Homeland.

Fiorina is the definition of fake. Talks about tough decisions she had to make when she was HP's CEO. Yeah? Like sending jobs overseas miss Fiorina? Instead of protecting American worker's interests? And she has the nerve to act like a Margaret Thatcher wannabe to attract the gullible. Go home Flowerina, you're softer than butter.

Whether you like it or not, a CEO's job is not to protect American workers. It is to make their company as profitable as they can. They answer to stockholders. If we want CEOs to make decisions that are beneficial to American workers, then we must create a situation where it's more beneficial to companies to do their business here than overseas. Right now it is a wise decision from a health of the business standpoint to export American jobs.

A no-fly zone can be negotiated between Russia and the U.S., but I don't think that's about to happen. I do think our President needs to sound firm and send signals that we will not take **** from anyone, Russia included. And unfortunately every once in a while we need to use our military to show that we are not afraid to. Personally I would prefer an semi-isolationist policy but the reality is that brokering deals from a foundation of military might is sometimes the only answer with the crazies of the world.

And I am against almost all of our meddling in the Middle East, it has been a fiasco from 2003 on. Generalizing a little here, but Muslims are bats hit crazy, I should know, I grew up in Detroit with the largest Muslim population in the U.S.

I don't know what the answer is to the Middle East, do we back away or do we insert ourselves, or in-between which it looks like Obama is doing.

So what is a troll if isn't someone who conflates a belief that "everyone has fundamental dignity and rights" with the belief in forced "social justice" issues like confiscatory taxes and absolute governmental hegemony over every aspect of human belief and action, in order that a "the community should provide for" every basic human need, believing the later is necessary to achieve the former?

Pretty clear to me what Dutch was saying, crudely put as it was.

The wonderful thing in what was America was the opportunities afforded by an abundant land and a limited government that free and industrious folks could provide for their own needs in some fashion other than sitting as peasant beggars under the castle walls of feudal Europe.

The "ideal" that government should provide is a modern but enlarged notion of that feudal European reality that made peasants of the folks who were thrown in jail if they hunted in the nobles' forests or gleaned the nobles' fields after the harvest.

lets say you work in new york city.
if you spend your whole 1 million dollar in salary. you're effective taxrate is HIGHER than 60%.
federal tax. state tax, property tax, sales tax and lots of other taxes. so YES when u done spending your money you have paid more than 60% tax.

Rape is a literal physical bodily invasion. Discussion of the rights of ownership of things is not the same as the right of ownership over your own body. Equating marginal tax rates to rape is absurdly offensive.
