Wow, hope the surgery goes well. Not to give away too much info about myself, but I'm thankful for the medical team who will be performing heart surgery on me (specifically, coronary artery bypass graft with endoscopic vein harvest) next week.
Best wishes for a successful surgery, and a speedy and full recovery. Not to give away too much info about myself, but I'm thankful for the medical team who will be performing heart surgery on me (specifically, coronary artery bypass graft with endoscopic vein harvest) next week.

I'm 50, and I have had a little bit of angina last winter, so I decided I ought to get it checked out, given my family history (every uncle, both grandfathers, both parents...). One of the arteries is about 70% blocked, and it's a long blockage. so just doing stents isn't an option. So, yeah.Happy Thanksgiving, guys.
Good luck, gandalfe. I'm at the age(49) where several of my friends have had successful heart surgeries too. Amazing stuff and definitely a good thing to be thankful for. My wife has her second neck surgery(fusion) in the last three years coming up on December 14. I'm going to echo you and give thanks for medical professionals. And dogs.
