If he ever learns to be consistent, works on his game in the offseason, and can be a true leader of the team, then yeah, I could see him being an all-star, but he has shown none of that in his first 4 seasons as a pro. Until proven otherwise, I think what we see out of Gordon Hayward is his ceiling.Hayward will be a guy who will get 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists on about 47.5% shooting. He will probably be an all star about three times. That is just a little better than fun legacy was at his best.

So a guy who averages 19, 6, and 5 then? Sounds borderline all star to me.
It's hard to be voted as an All Star if your team's not winning... just saying.
Man, he almost singlehandedly beat the bulls, and they were supposed to be title contenders like last week. So yeah, I'd say he's a lock to be an all star.
On a .500 team or better...maybe. On a 2-14 team, **** no!So a guy who averages 19, 6, and 5 then? Sounds borderline all star to me.
You're right man, let's just disregard the 1/17 shooting along with other extremely poor shooting performances, and that he's leading our Utah Jazz to a whopping 2 - 14 record. Sure lock for all star bro.

That's why I'm excited to see Trey Burke finally in the lineup...hopefully he can draw attention away from Hayward and allow him to take better shots instead of forcing things. For sure. But this team has like three nba players. I want to see what he can do with other good players, especially on a team where he is not the best player
