I don't see Hayward regressing to start next season. If you look at the circumstances heading into this season, the slow start is somewhat understandable. First of all, he didn't start to come on until really late in his rookie year. IMO he was just starting his ascent as soon as the season ended. Then, he's hit with a lockout that stops him from working out with his team, getting more comfortable with his new coach, etc. Thanks to the condensed season, everybody on this Jazz team has had to try and get better without having almost any practice time to speak of.
I agree. Plus this is more consistent than the flashes he showed last year. He has been playing this way game in and game out for the last 2 weeks. I think he has turned the corner and will continue his progression. I think he will be even better next year.
