I agree. He knows the game but he just can't seem to find common language with his players and be a leader. Some people are just better suited to be assistant coaches. We could take him I guess to be a wingman to Snyder? The guy is an awful leader and communicator imo.

Well, Igor is due his team in the NBA soon. We may start looking for replacements anyway.No. God no. He stinks. We have a great staff and don't need to hire some schmoe just because he played for the Jazz once.

But yeah Hornacek isn't ideal. He won't be an assistant and I doubt he has anything to give to the Jazz.
That would be awesome but I really want to see Kokoskov coaching.Yep. I was thinking of this the other day. I'm really hoping we can keep Igor and the staff intact here for another 3 years at least.
If Ntilikina develops a decent 3pt shot and tightens up his handle, that's a scarily good core. Get defensive minded center and a shooter and it's pretty well rounded.Well, if Knicks somehow luck into Doncic pick it may make sense to re unite him with his national team coach.
Guys function in that role all the time (Alvin Gentry, Maurice Cheeks, Brian Shaw, Phil Johnson, the list goes on forever). I don't think it's a binary thing, or that a path is unidirectional.I think Igor gets a job... I just hope we can keep Bryant long term. I think he's been key to our development program.
Wouldn't bring in Hornacek as an assistant... not sure guys can function well in that role once they've been a head coach.
Quin will find someone else, but we should promote within imo.
