I can't figure out how we're not worse than we are. Nobody values our veterans, not even the fans. Our young guys can't even get invited to the rising stars challenge or make ESPN's top 25 players under 25. Coach is clueless. Offense is stagnant. Defense is below average. Injuries to Williams and Hayward. Tinsley and Watson are our point guards. Tinsley and Watson!
How do we have a better record than the Lakers and Celtics? Is it the home court elevation? Is it the winning culture?
I honestly have no idea.
You were probably being sarcastic, but I was waiting for someone to mention Corbin. As much as his starting lineup blows, he must have some coaching skills that fans are hesitant to recognize.Coach Corbin!

I can't think of many.Supposedly he's doing a beautiful job managing potential player tension (Locke, every day). Maybe he runs awesome practices. I have noticed that when something goes wrong in a game, the team is more prepared for it the next game. For example, I believe it was against Miami that the Jazz were having trouble dribbling up the court against pressure. The next game the point guard had all sorts of screens to help out. Also, no team has been able to so effectively double Al with their point guard since the Houston game. Who knows.
It is extremely rare that our bench doesn't annihilate the opposition when they're in. I think that's a huge factor.
Great defense most of the time too, with Favors and Carroll along with Kanter out there. What are we rated in terms of overall differential?Utah's bench is 10th in the league in scoring. Hayward not withstanding, Burks is the bench's best offensive player...
You guys.

6th it appears. I think we'd easily have the best bench if one or two players get enough minutes to develop offensively.
I, too, am often shocked by our 7th seed team!!! We should grab a beer, braugh!
We're 22-7 against teams under .500. We're 8-17 against teams above .500.
So, we've played 4 more games against sub .500 teams. We are currently 6 games above .500.
I'll go with a favorable schedule, the first month of the year notwithstanding.

"How are we not bad?"
Pure, unfiltered, extremely dumb luck... It's sure as **** not Corbin doing a good job at all. Anyone alluding to that is fooling themselves or not watching the games.
