How close it Trump to being a modern-day Hitler?

I've always seen Trump as more of a Mussolini. I don't think Trump is looking to do a holocaust, he's looking to be a strongman dictator who demands the adoration of his subjects.

I also think that Trump wouldn't care if one of his favorite underlings did want a holocaust and was actually doing it. I don't think Trump cares either way if Americans live or die. Prosper or starve. Are free or enslaved. He only cares about being worshipped.

You'll be saying that right up to the point when you walk into the shower block for disinfection.

This is also quite telling. Someone could incorrectly call me a Kamala supporter and I wouldn't really care. She is just another poor candidate in a long line of poor candidates. I'm not gonna get my undies in a bunch over it.

Someone who isn't a trump supporter gets accused of being one and he (rightly) makes a big deal out of it and it turns into a big thing. Even changes how they post because of the slanderous accusation that was made. Because trump isn't just another poor candidate. He is the worst candidate by far. That's why it would make so much sense for you to actually post in such a way to show that fact. (Criticize trump unprompted as frequently or more frequently than Kamala)

You be like "I hate being called a trumper" I'm like, "maybe throw a criticism or 2 trumps way once in a while then" and you be like "I will just stop criticizing Kamala instead. I will never criticize trump as you suggest. But I'm not a trump supporter" just seems kind of strange. You can see how that looks odd, right? In your defense maybe the media you consume never shows you negative things about trump and that's why you never criticize him on your own without prompting. You just aren't seeing the criticisms without me and log and red and sardines and straightline to show them to you. You only see Kamala criticisms in the media you consume so that is what you post. That would make sense.

Confused, no, defensive yes. If it was in any other setting or forum, I wouldn't be defensive as I am in here. Why, because the posters on the left can't distinguish there are more than just 2 sides. It's either your on our Tribe or your MAGA. I find most of them are emotionally posting without any critical thinking skills. If you can't see the difference between, PJ, AL, Mongoose and me, then it's on the other posters. There are 4 shades of more right leaning. To the left posters in here, it's all MAGA and all Trolls.

This is why I stand up and defend.

These same posters can tell there is a difference between Thriller, Log, Sardines, Str8ghtline and Fish. We understand there are many shades of people from the far left to moderate.

This is why the people on the right on this forum will have a discussion at anytime with anyone and not block them, they don't lump them all together.

I have liked the last 4 years. In fact, I have like the last 40 plus years. Im pretty sure I will like the next 4. I dont rely on the government or president for my happiness or to take care of me like some apparently do.

I suspect he’s more of a Orban. He’ll corrupt the media and government. Enrich himself and his cronies. He will alienate our Western European allies, give Ukraine to Putin and Taiwan to China. And stack the courts with loyalists. Maintain power as long as possible. The far right will rip away IVF, gay marriage, and the peogrsssive reforms of the 20th century. And as long as he can gerrymander, keep loyalists in the courts, and maintain a stranglehold over the GOP propaganda apparatus, he’ll never be held to account.

We’re already seeing what a second Trump term would be with Musk being fed federal government contracts and other billionaires like Bezos being enriched as long as he remains loyal. It’s the same crap that Putin has done in Russia and what Orban has done in Hungary. Fascists of the 21st century don’t have to seize power violently. They just have to abuse the freedoms that democracies provide, feed their base grievance, build up their propaganda apparatus, corrupt the courts, and cut deals with the richest. I know it might surprise some on this board, but a politician supported by the richest in the country, makes a really lethal combination.
