Is Turkey rife with male/male hand holding?

Asking for gayness or arabian culture wise?

For the latter, it exists very locally, for example in some regions of Hatay where a lot of arabs live. In turkish culture it gets a bit reprobation.

It's weird to see how old some guys are and see the young slang they use. Jason should use that as a selling point "come relive your youth and be hip on jazzfanz!"

You answered what I was looking for. I was just wondering re:respect/friendship. I always thought that was an interesting peculiarity.

In Turkey, there isn't much of a "personal space" between the males. On the streets you can see guys walking together very closely, arm in arm or especially arm on shoulders of each others in almost any age groups from school boys to the oldsters. In most of the European countries that can be perceived as gayness, because that personal space thing is crazy important there.

However hand holding is entirely another thing in Turkey. Because unlike some arabian countries, it's linked with romanticism strongly. So if you see a male couple holding hands of each other in Turkey, you can assume that they're most likely partners.

I'm 28. I act like I'm 13 most of the time and I feel like I'm 65. I pretty much hate life and the older I get I realize that life is just work and I will die in no time.
