Let's be a little more realistic here. Ron quoted SOME things that were out of context to get his point (that were later clarified).
Here some points that I'm 100% correct so far from the posts that I made:
1. I knew for a fact Hayward was leaving a year+ before free agency.
2. I'm a 100% correct about the Jazz being completely garbage without Gobert (We were 2 games away from being literally the worst team in the NBA before his return).
3. Called 2-2 against the Nuggets
4. Potentially 2-2 against he Blazers.
5. I still think the T-wolves would be slightly better if Jimmy didn't go down. Same could be said for NOL and Spur (they're still putting up a fighters chance to get into the playoffs without star players where we were absolute trash without Gobert). We would 100% be one of the worst teams if Gobert was still out (called that and was proven).
6. Called Hood was garbage, still is (was LITERALLY the worst defensive player on the Jazz).
7. Called Burks was garbage and won't play, still is and isn't playing.
8. Called Donovan would be great. He is.
I'm not "hating" on the Jazz. I enjoy the Jazz, I love watching the Jazz, and I hope they always do well but some times some fanz need a little dose of reality and I'm not afraid to say it. We MIGHT get the 4th seed, I HOPE we get the 4th seed but losing Hayward for literally nothing is still a step back in any shape or form. We would definitely have more wins if Gobert didn't get injured but that could be said for the Wolves, Spurs, Nol, Warriors, etc... The fact is, injuries happen and it's always going to happen. It's "next man up" and we literally do not have anyone on our roster comparable to the impact of Gobert if he goes down.
On another note, I need to bump up old posts to say "I told you so" or I could bump up a WHOLE lot about Hayward and Broncster
