What's new

I rarely complain about the officiating...

2nd time in a week the Jazz are called for a BS foul in the final seconds because the opposing player runs into them and flops before the ball is inbounded. Cheaters get free throw and the ball. Total BS.

Yeah, Javie made the Thunder make their shots. Dude, the Thunder should have been the Swishes tonight. Give 'em some credit.

Nobody is saying that the thunder sucked or dont get any credit, just that the officiating was bad. which it was.

The thunder sucked and don't get any credit.
The Jazz would have probably won if the officials didn't mess up the calls twice in the last couple minutes.
I could beat the Jazz myself if the refs let me do it from the free throw line.

I stand corrected!

The Durant shoulder was my only complaint.

How the refs called that foul on CJ I have no idea. The jazz should sent that tape into Stern as a problem with "star treatment".

The Kirelinko no-call at the end of the game for me was, eh because when he started driving baseline I started screaming NOOOOOOOO! I could picture him throwing up some wild shot and missing in my mind before it even happened. He should not be taking a shot at such a pivotal point in the game.

If that was the case the Jazz where already owed a game from getting jobbed in OKC on New Years eve, if you need to ask cause you don't remember then you don't deserve to know.

That.

It's one thing for homer OKC fans to cry about that ESA game while conveniently ignoring the screw-job we saw in OKC earlier that season, but a fellow JAZZ FAN? Laugh out loud @ DutchJazzer.

And further laugh out loud at some people in this thread blaming the refs for this loss. We lost because they couldn't miss in the 3rd, got key offensive boards, and shot record percentages at the stripe. There are a few questionable calls, but nothing that would warrant blaming the refs for the loss. Let's save the ref bitching for when it really, really happens, like in our upcoming games against the Lakers.

When I left the arena last night, I was more concerned about some of the selfishness I saw from Jazz players, the lack of boxing out at crucial times, and some horrendous decisions in the last moments than I was with the officiating. As a matter of fact, with the exception of the Durant/Miles incident, I had not real complaints with the officiating.

Tony, you're like the McRib of Jazzfanz.

CJ was fouled at 97-95 too.
Why can't the Jazz get a call at the end, in a game on their home court, in a game where the other team already shot way more free throws?
Free throw disparity: 34-22.
(Disclosure : I agree that the Jazz could have played better. That does not mean that the officiating is fair.)

Durant gets a lot of absurd calls his way. That's just how it is, we need to overcome it. Now, I am not sure because I have horrible memory, but I think there was a baffling technical that was called on Deron Williams I believe, I am not sure if it was last game, hell, it may have never happened, I am just crazy that way. If it did happen, that was my main gripe with the officiating.

They let Westbrook get away with carrying the ball a few times though, and then there was the uncalled swinging elbows by DJ White that struck both Price and Fes.
