Considering the fact that players are losing money on this, the league needs to take a close look at who is voting dishonestly. Some of those votes are less than obvious, but a few are bad enough that the writer should lose his vote.

Sports writers jobs are to write about the teams they cover, not the Jazz who are barely on TV and when they ate, its usually a late game.

No one is saying you have to be in a big market to get votes. Please don't be stupid and build this straw-man argument.

All I'm saying is that being in a bigger market is an advantage. Those players you named have already had their coming out party as "stars" and are now marketed by the NBA as such. This is Gobert's breakout year in terms of getting national recognition. A lot of people still aren't on board. You dont think that anything to do with playing in a small market out west that doesnt get a lot of national TV time? You think if Gobert did all this for a 51 win Lakers team he wouldnt get those 9 voters who didnt vote for him?

I know right?

I look at the all nba teams and see okc, utah, cleveland, San antonio, Milwaukee, oakland, new orleans, toronto, DC,..... all being represented.
Seems that you don't have to play in LA, houston, chicago, new york, etc to make the all nba.

Wiggins and Kat (minny) will likely be on there soon too. (I think Kevin love made all nba in minny)

Hayward just made his first all star game and played in the playoffs basically for his first time.
He will be marketed as such now. No worries.
