If Shabazz and Schroeder are undrafted at 13

the ones that are supposedly driving him down draft boards. not saying there are or aren't any. simply acknowledging that if there are character issues, another team is way more likely to try and deal with them then the jazz are.

I agree with that.. it's just that the character issues that most are throwing around is about a face he made a couple times at the end of games.
The guy works REALLY hard, is a fierce competitor and I am 100% sure that his facial expressions come from his competitive nature, not character issues.
I also am 100% the 'issues' are largely a creation of misdirection.

I'm not pimping 'Bazz.. I'm just sharing what I have seen from him having watched him since he was a sophomore in HS.

my biggest question about shabazzz is that if the character issues are so serious that 13 teams pass on a guy who talent-wise belongs in the top-2 picks, why should the jazz take him? especially if we are trying to model our franchise after the spurs, character comes slightly before talent, which is why stephen jackson couldn't pass muster

And my biggest concern about Shabazz are his low assists.
Is he going to be the Big Al of wings?

bugah bugah bugah wut?

these character issues are probably a ruse concocted by some team in hopes Bazz sliding to them.
The sins of the father on the son. Not saying the son doesn't have some baggage considering the ****ty patriarch but he is NOT his father.

Watch whatever it was that UCLA called an offense and you won't worry about his assists anymore.

Thank you.

UCLA runs the "pass-the-ball-around-and-whoever-has-it-at-the-end-of-the-shot-clock-shoots-it", offense.
(which was dumb because that's what you do when you lack talent and want to limit the possessions and keep the score low..)

His dad has loooong been known to be a POS. 'Bazz has loooong been known to be a hard worker, fierce competitor, and prolific scorer.

Maybe faith that putting Shabazz with DMC, Evans, Hayward, Favors, Kanter, Williams, Burks. Sloan, Malone and Corbin will be enough of a strong hand to keep him in line.

Better keep him away from Sydney Lowe though

Seeing as how Bazz is a hard worker ( or so we are told) I do not think he would cause a problem here. Why not get the 13, 14 and 21st picks and make some noise this season?

He doesn't need to be 'kept in line' anymore than anyone else.

u can post shabazz up on small SG, combo types, he can operate on the baseline with turnarounds.........

if shabazz is on the board at 14 thats a gift

I like it. 13, 14, 21, and Shawn Marion = Tank you very much.

lets not forget after their rookie season everyone (justifiably so) thought Tyreke Evans(4th pick) was better than Harden(3rd)

it might take shabazz sometime to adjust but i do compare him to James Harden

shabazz being a hard worker isnt an issue, hes obviously spent tremendous amounts of time perfecting his skills

he could get more athletic, but that shouldent be an issue, this kids skillset is monstrous below the rim, and he can play above the rim too, im baffled by his fall, to me its unexplainable, i think every team could use shabazz muhammad

is to me as well. I, too, still have him in my top 3 rankings for BPA.. maybe #1 or 2.

I watched an UCLA game and I had to fight the urge to close that abominable thing called basketball. Shabazz did well and will only do better. He can fit into a system considering he plays great off the ball.

if Shabazz Muhammad falls to the timberwolves thats a damn shame if your in the west, that team would be really good(when healthy)

My point was a little sarcastic. I was just trying to show that Utah is a character place. Even if a guy was a little bit of a character risk I think that is counter acted in Utah.

Let Favors, Hayward, Burks, Kanter, DMC, Evans, 13, 14 & 21 marinate for a year then add a pick from the 2014 draft (Parker and Wiggins are thrown around) and go for it all.
