Look, I admit I am 4th generation UK fan and a convert to Jazz after living here the past 6 years ... but I feel I can be honest in my assessment.
UK has won more NCAA games than any team in cbb, yet Knight (among all feshman, all-time) amassed the following season accolades;
Points - #1
3pt attempts - #1
3pt made - #1
Assists - #2 (to Wall)
Rebounds - #12

Pretty impressive, imo. Great kid. Smart kid. Winner.

Lets stay BIG at 3. Biyombo or Kanter. This is backed up also by the dominance that bigs have had in this year's playoffs (along with all the others). Biyombo could be the Tyson Chandler, Ibaka, Noah, etc that we need. Kanter might be the best player in this year's draft.

Now there are some legit stats. Knight is the deal i watched at least 10 uk games and his progression from start to end was amazing. His final stats dont begin to tell the story.

What Rose hype? Knight isn't similar to Rose! Who has compared the two?

In my opinion... move him to SG. He played combo when he was in Dallas, so it wouldn't be all that big of a stretch, and with the historic love of playing two PG's, this works out perfectly. Then we can move Hayward to the 3, and any combination of healthy memo, sap, favors, jefferson, high draft pick to play 4/5.

I'm excited this season because Corbin seems to stick with the young talent when they're struggling, instead of sticking with the vets.
 
Ever dated a girl for years and then you break up with her and you feel kinda weird being alone again? So you start noticing other girls but none of them measure up to your old girlfriend. But you continue to hate being alone so eventually you stop being so picky and you see a girl and she's ok. She does some things that convince you to think "hey, she's not so bad. She's got potential." But you know she isn't right for you. And if you waste time kidding yourself about her, you won't be available when Ms. Right comes along.

Her name is Brandon Knight. I'm saving myself for someone better.
 
In retro spect that draft sucked. If they did it again the jazz would probably still take Kanter 3, but would they take someone else (Leonard?) at 12?
 
2011 turning out to be a pretty weak draft
Best bargains: Thomas at #60 and Parsons at #38.
Best lotto picks: Irving and Klay Thompson
Biggest busts: wow, there are so many to choose from among the lottery picks.

They probably would because Thompson would go #2. If Thompson is around at #3, then the Jazz would be crazy to not take him #3.
