What's new

IF we lose this series…

He's exactly what this team needs right now. People are clamoring for Craig, Tucker and others. He's better than all of them.

We should have kept him on his miniscule contract, traded Favors to Memphis instead of dumping him to NOLA for scraps. We could have probably tinkered with the numbers enough to still sign Bogey.

Like HH always says - our front office screws up along the edges. We should have burned 2nds to Memphis in order to keep Jae and use Favors instead.

Crowder is not better than Tucker. On top of it there is no guarantee he would have re-signed here.

We can disagree about Tucker vs Crowder. Whatever. We had him and he was happy here. I think we could have kept him, got everybody we got (Bogey, Conley, etc) AND use the exception to sign Favors.

We would have had to send a number of 2nd rounders to Memphis instead of trying to get one from NOLA.

With what cap space would we have been able to get Bogdanovic with?

Crowder was only making $7.8 that season. I have the utmost faith that we could have shed money somewhere to make the room for Bogey.

If I remember correctly, we signed Bogey THEN traded Favors. If we would have traded Favors as part of the Conley deal, I think we could have made it work to keep Jae somehow.

This thread when the Jazz are tied 2-2?

@nateboz was talking nonsense about how weak players are nowadays. **** you want to see weak, look at some of you! You're all people who made an account on jazzfanz.com, the world's best jazz fan message board. WTF are you doing here if you're jumping ship in a series where the Jazz are tied 2-2?

Obviously you either didn't go through the early 90's as a Jazz fan or you just straight up forgot. Being a Jazz fan ain't easy. So if you want being a fan to be easy then go sign up on some Lakers message board, then on the Patriots message board then the NY Yankees message board. You're not gonna get a championship every year, but you'll never have to wait long and when things are even kind of good you'll be able to tune into ESPN and hear all about your marvelous team.

So if that's what you want GTFO and go get what you want you instant gratification, no guts, no commitment, no confidence, nothingfans.

Stop polluting this fantastic fan message board with your anxiety laden tripe. The Jazz are tied 2-2 with a team that was projected to be a WCF guarantee .

Those boys have to come back up the hill to our house, where the seats are full and the air is thin. If you're jumping off the bus right now don't bother getting back on after game 5. Go find another team.
Nonsense is getting paid millions of dollars to sit on the bench.
If these athletes only got paid when they played (just like 97% of the rest of the world's employed) I'd bet you'd see a massive change in these "injuries"

That’s not what you said though. You said we could have gotten Favors too.

The Favors timeline is exactly the same. He would have played his one season in Memphis instead of NOLA then we sign him.

We could have gotten Favors last year with the exception regardless because we are a capped out team.

Moral of the story - it was stupid to let Jae go.
