Booker tonight: 35-3-5 on 12-24 FG and 10-11 FTS. Does Lyles even have 36 points for the season?

As far as the OP, I understand the dooms day and depression with how the Jazz are playing and it's easy to just see Trey Burke = 2 first round picks and Gobert = 27th overall pick for a second-round pick and cash consideration. But I can almost guarantee DL looked at it as a total asset draft, let me explain. Also want to note every Jazz fan on this board and off was clamoring and demanding a PG in that draft and if you don't believe me then you have selective memory and people like you saying we needed a SG more than a back up stretch PF would be even worse then "we should've drafted Booker" are right now.
Utah Jazz had picks Nos. 14 and 21 and a 2nd round pick and had the money option (for not using it in the previous year) to buy a pick if needed and the whole league knew that DNV wanted to save money and not use that pick. So to me in my head I look at it as a 3 team trade, Jazz trade picks Nos. 14 and 21 to MIN and 27th overall pick for a second-round pick and cash consideration to DNV the right to Trey Burke and Rudy Gobert.
Basically he used his draft assets to get who he wanted and the biggest needs on the team. I don't even want to get into or start the whole draft by need or best player available discussion (I'm in the draft best available camp) and there are many many examples of both working and both not working it is really more on how the situation is managed and luck.
U do realize Greg Miller paid the luxury tax for a year or two, right?I think most of us saw that coming. It wasn't like Neto had been tearing up the ACB. But we're fans and hoped for the best. In reality, I think DL gave up on the team when Exum went down. But even before that, he did nothing in free agency. I really wonder if the Jazz BoD is tightening the wallet to squeeze as much profit out of the team as possible. We know the Miller kids don't really care about basketball.
Thee jazz fan was right! Lyles was most definitely the better pick for the Jazz.
Let's also not forget that he is shooting far better then anyone thought he would.
That was really a decision that was put into place by Larry H before he passed away. It was Larry's decision to allegedly veto a trade of AK (twice) that would have cleared that money of the books sooner.U do realize Greg Miller paid the luxury tax for a year or two, right?

Over Gail's dead body. Mrs. Miller is the one in charge. It is SHE that basically pulled her boys by the ears, stopped their squabbling and installed a board. As for the AK trades that didn't happen, it was in the papers at the time. You can go back and look it up.I didn't know u were privy to all the dealings made within the jazz organization.
Even so. This was, is Gregs team and he could've done whatever he wanted.

I'm almost positive he was higher on Booker.I wonder who PKM was excited about more between Booker and Lyles since they both went to UK and he had front row seats watching them practice, etc. (or does he not do that anymore?)
