What's new

Im sick of it

Good thoughts. But Karl had already stated that he'll only come on as a part-time "consultant". Which I think pisses a lot of people off. It's that too cool for school attitude. Miller would want accountability and you just don't get that sense from Karl.

If he says he'll commit 2 years full time, I think KOC/Greg would look at it. But that commitment isn't there yet from Karl himself no less.

Well we already have our pick #17 and GS pick #24. If we can get Portland's #14 and somehow use those 3 picks and move up to get a legit talent in the top 3, I think I'd do it. Cleveland is picking #3 and Phoenix is picking #4 right now, I think they could use more talent. Especially Phoenix, they just need "bodies" right now IMO.

They year we traded into the top 3, one of the picks involved was 6. I do not see any team trading a 3 for 14, 17, and 24. It would be hard to convert that to a 6.

Well.. or #4.. this year's lock at the top seems to only stretch 3 players.. similar to 2011? Have to confirm with PKM... so if talent drops off significantly from there? who knows..

That's exactly the amount of commitment that would be good for all parties. The Jazz can't be married to Karl, he is a disaster waiting to happen, they need to keep distance and they know it, or the Jazz wouldn't have been distancing themselves for the last decade. If the Jazz have real concerns that Karl might poison Favors and Kanter then they've been doing the right thing.

I certainly would like to believe that he wouldn't and that he would be involved with the development of the team.

This guy right here.... gives me 3 names.
Not all NBA players are robots. They don't think the same thoughts. Yah?
Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Dwight Howard. Arguably Deron Williams. Wade would've been one except he was the one dropped in the most ideal city of those colluding ********.

Name me the top-dogs in the league not on rookie contracts (or extensions from that contract) that chose to defect to a small market. And who's the biggest star the Jazz have ever signed at the time of the signing? Carlos Boozer (hint: he wasn't a star)?

P.S. Monta Ellis is still trash.
