Fry sauce!

I'm not sure we have fry suace out here on the east coast so what is it exactly? From pics from a couple years ago, I envision a combination of hot sauce and thousand island dressing. Could I make it myself?

equal parts mayonaise and ketchup, super easy to make

start with that, just mix them together till it turns orange. you can adjust the recipe to tase, or add to it. i like to put some tabasco or franks hot in mine.

ketchup and mayo, braugh. just make it straight up like that first to taste it. then you can go crazy from there. it's great on fries, onion rings, hamburgers, anything deep fried and salty, all kinds of stuff. i wont even buy french fries unless the place gives me fry sauce with it.

here's a good basic recipe to get you started.

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup ketchup (roughly a 2 to 1 ratio)
1/2 tsp onion powder
3 to 4 teaspoons pickle juice (add one teaspoon at a time & check for taste)
