Yeah but how can you be a face of the franchise if you don't actually live here?

He will buy a house when he gets his contract. He does live in Utah during the season BTW, they all do.

How many commercials of Gordon play during Jazz games? Like 4839472834379! Who was everyone talking about after USA Camp? Who took Butler to the National Championship? Who has started more games? Who has celebrities wearing their jersey in Rolling Stone and on their tours?

They don't even compare yet. FRavors signed a deal and bought a house. So what!?

He bought the house BEFORE he signed the extension.

Can't say the same thing about Hayward.

Are you a real estate agent or something? What is your infatuation with him buying a house? D-Will still has a house here. Lebron still has a house in Ohio. It has nothing to do with being the face of the franchise. Hayward is more famous, has done more, and is more developed as of right now. They both are marketed as the face, but Hayward is more recognizable nationwide.

I guess that's where you and I differ. You look at Hayward's marketability. I look at Favors' loyalty by settling down roots here and take a fair contract (and sacrifice some $ IMO) to stay here long-term.

Big difference.

Someone want to do a game thread for tonight? I would, but I'm on an iPhone, and am headed to dinner before going to the game in Brooklyn. I'll try to post a few photos.

In two weeks, when we have 1 or 2 wins, it will 100% be Dennis Lindsey. That is who people will talk about when they talk about the Jazz. Will they win the lottery? With all the cap space, what player do we go after.

We have no face.

Currently, when people think of the Utah Jazz, they think of Hayward.

That will probably change somewhat this year, as Favors/Kanter are going to get a lot of attention for their improvements, but as of now, I would say it's Hayward.
