Hood is in no way redundant to Doncic. Hood is more coveted than KCP, who makes Hood like John Stockton in terms of consistency, and Gallinari, who makes Hood look like Iron Man.

I can live with bad shooting nights because he still has value as a floor spacer. What we can’t have is him just not being there or being in and out of the lineup as it disrupts his and others rythymns.

KCP is a better defender and doesn’t miss games... unless he’s on probation. I’d rather have Hood I’d i know both guys are playing.

Gallo was a more dynamic offensive player when he was rolling but yeah he’s made of glass and I’ve heard some are not impressed with his work ethic. He may cash dem checks in LA and chill.
 
I think Philly in particular would rather have KCP because they don’t need as much creation.

Another interesting stat is Hood is only assisted on 66% of his 3s. Meaning he's taking some less than optimal shots off the dribble, pull ups, or late shock heaves and making a crazy amount of them.
That is a very strong stat. A roleplaying sharpshooter like Kyle Korver, in comparison, has always needed to be assisted on 95% of them throughout his career.

This is where I remembered the max comment from... may have been tongue in cheek and they don't have space for a max which I kind of pointed to later...
