Israel blocks Tlaib and Ilhan from entering country

Since trump keeps winning, why are all of his supporters pissed off all the time? The whining is at fever pitch. These guys are always painting themselves as the victims. It’s always “why’s everyone always picking on me / donald?”

I get the sense that they are just looking for scapegoats to blame for their personal problems.

Victim mentality used to be a liberal thing. Not so much anymore. It’s the white dudes who are now the oppressed. Poor guys.

It's kind of a chicken egg situation. I'm not sure if they are taking their cues from Trump or vice versa, but both him and his supporters act like they are the most oppressed people on earth.

I agree. See the post I made for Red just barely.

We are past learning and having civil discussions. The left uses cheap tactics and isnt worth being civil to. Sometimes you do need to fight fire with fire.

Have it your way.

So you don't think a cops mentality is different when pulling over a white dude than pulling over a black dude?
Lol ok.

43 percent of cops are shot by black people and are only 8 percent of the population. That might look like racism from one side but look like being careful so I can go home to my family on the other side. Accountability and not victim hood and racism chanting would go a long way to bringing understanding

Good post.
I wonder what skin color most victims have who are shot by cops.

Might be a chicken vs egg kinda thing.

The two were going for the explicit purpose of furthering an anti-Israel agenda. Israel has a long policy of not allowing those types of instigators/agitators free reign in their country.

See: Boycott, Divestment, and Sanction resolution that they are both championing.

Is opposing a specific policy of Israel the same as being anti-Israel?

Now you know how it feels to talk to a liberal when they throw around the racist accusation so easily.

You are right its stupid. Im doing it to prove a point. Whats REALLY stupid is that you cant see that. And that you cant see how similar the two accusations are. You only see one side, because...wait for it... you are a biased a-hole who doesnt actually care about people, but rather an ideology and winning arguments. You arent fair. You arent rational. You are the opposite of that.

Accusations of stoking racial animosities, on the part of Trump, are not thrown around "easily". The president's own words, on many occasions, justify the charge. It's your denial of such obvious tactics on the part of Trump that are strained and not supported by the evidence. You just don't like the truth of the matter.

So, what's your solution? Equate opposition to the policies of the Israeli government with anti-Semitism. It was deliberate on your part. It had one purpose, and one purpose only. To provide you with an opportunity to label Democrats and/or liberals as anti-Semitic. I refuse to believe you are so stupid(some might argue with that, I grant) as to not know there is a difference between opposition to Israeli state policy and anti-Semitism. The subject of the thread is newsworthy, and I have no doubt it's a subject that many will find a good subject for debate. Introducing it in the manner in which you did, however, is the action of a lowlife.

There was no comparison to be made, no point to make. You were trying to "prove a point"? Give me a break. You were just looking for an excuse to say something stupid. On that score, you succeeded. You demonstrated you are dishonest and enjoy trolling.

Believe it or not, I fall on the side of maybe not welcoming Tlaib or Oman. Or any politically minded American. Banning is kinda trivial, but we do kind of have historically proven to inflame already hot political issues. And douche pope already managed to stir things up two years ago.

You can wax patriotic, humanitarian, economic or political correctness all you want, but at the end of the day everyone needs to find their own way. It's easy for me to say that and ignore the fact that without the French we'd all still be drinking tea, but the historical length of the conflict in Israel isn't going to be solved by supporting one side or the other.

I think Israel, Tlaib, and Illhan are all being stupid here.

With that said, who do Tlaib and Illhan think they're fooling here?

Hmmm.

Seems strange that the Israeli government doesn't have a problem allowing antisemites into their country but won't allow these congresswomen in (one of whom is Palestinian and has family there).

It's almost like there's a different reason altogether for it.

The reason is that in 2016 they decided to block those who promote/support BDS in a political function.
