It’s official: Oni being underutilized

Rebounding was good from Oni and Brantley- Jerry Sloan would be drooling. Just be average, minimize mistakes and play intense defense (Royce is the best one, but anything that matches 80% is a win).
 
I think if it were like last year and we're focused on a defensive identity he'd get more time. This year coach seems more concerned with offense.
 
Watched this game a little later than most, but mostly liked what I saw from Oni and Brantley. Oni was a bit timid at first, but was excellent in the 4th quarter when he became a bit more assertive on offense. Brantley had a very solid stat line, hitting a couple of 3s, a nice finish inside, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 2 steals. He’s quite an active player, but needs to improve his decision making at both ends a bit (as should be expected of a rookie who’s barely seen any minutes). There’s certainly something there in both players.
