What's new

It's happening bros...

We don't need Henson, already have defensive bigs with Gobert & Favors.
Seems like he'd be a good fit to play 18-20 mins behind Gobert at the 5. Booker gets all the mins behind Favors at PF.

If they won't part with Middleton, I'd ask for their 1st, but negotiate down to Henson and Inglis. Henson is a solid rotation player and Inglis is a decent prospect.

As much as we'd like to hate kanter, he'd still have much more potential than Henson.. IMO ...

I do like Middleton and a 1st though.. I'd do that in a heart beat.

It'll be funny if Kanter actually buys into the Jazz and makes big strides and we all start loving him.

GTFO with that positivity... That **** ain't welcome here!

Of course Kanter has more potential than Henson. We're dealing from a position of weakness. He doesn't want to stay and - at most - we have him for one more season at the QO. But do we really want to invest 25 mins/per in him next season, knowing that he'll leave as a free agent?

There isn't a chance in HELL Milwaukee is giving up Middleton AND a 1st. And probably not a chance they'd even consider giving up Middleton straight up. Any team acquiring Kanter faces the same risk we do - that he'll just sign the QO and become an UFA. Kanter simply doesn't have this insane value many wish he did.

I can't see them doing Middleton. I could see a kanter for their pick and maybe getting Inglis (really intriguing French dude). I'm not sure Inglis will ever crack their wing rotation... Might be a starter for us right now. There is something there but I think Middleton is part of their LT core.

Lockes head would explode if we got inglis. Ingles, inglis, Burke, burks, Elijah millsap. Half the roster would confound Ron Boone on the daily.

It would be great... Don't forget Boler... He gets more confused than anyone.

Still laugh every time he calls a 15 footer a three.

Any other similar names we can acquire... How about Brendan Haywood... Derrick Williams... Hell lets get Stauskas so we can hear Locke call him stoiaskas a hundred times... If we can't win let's at least troll our announcers hard.

We then acquire all the Plumlees... Like even mom and dad

Kanter did practice with team tonight but word from local media (on Twittter) is Jazz PR will NOT allow Enes to speak with media tonight. Interesting

I don't think that means a trade is (necessarily) on the horizon.

They likely just want him to STFU.

I wonder if the Jazz are thinking that Max Ergul is so inept that we will be able to retain Kanter at a reasonable price.

Expected.
Gotta feel a little bit for the poor fella. He put his foot in his mouth and it was compounded by his agent afterwards. Shield him until after the trade deadline. If he isn't traded he'll deal with a lot of questions, but at least it will be one less thing for him to address.

And yes, another aspect of that is what Flc said: nothing Kanter says now would be helpful towards making a trade. So make sure his lips are completely sealed until the deadline passes.

Quin wouldn't commit to starting Kanter and talked about match ups per Andy Larsen... Seems like the Gobert era will be starting... Remember what he did to LMA last time?
