Jackpotting Around: A Utah Jazz Podcast

I really enjoyed the podcast. I particularly like the jazz focus combined with lack of agenda being imposed by jazz sources.

I agree with others suggestions that a little more scripted intro would properly bait the hook to keep everyone interested.

I also admit that the last 30 minutes of the pod dragged on a little more than I wanted. IMO the best trade ideas deserved the full the treatment but some other trades would been better served with a less in-depth analysis.

I also echo others that small nerdy basketball jokes really can add to the listenability of a pod.

Thanks for doing this I hope to hear more great analysis in future pods.

Off season show idea: Guest Craig Bolerjack discussing his autobiography "Make One/Miss One: One Man's Skip Pass Journey into a life of 16 Foot Three pointers."
I laughed out loud

funny idea for your intro:

You should take a sample of Locke's intro where he does his own drum roll and POW!, and then autotune it + add some effects. Would be hilarious.

If you could find an interview clip of Sloan saying jackpotting and just remix it with a beat and transition, that would be a good intro.
Damn... may have to hit my friend up who I think can do this type of stuff. Those are fire!!!

Try to get into contact with a radio person maybe? I searched youtube and I couldnt find any clip of Sloan saying.
I can also find an old ornery old cuss to say it and just lie. I grew up with like 10 farmers that all talked like Jerry. Gonna see what I can do.

Liking what I'm hearing so far of the pod.

When I heard your voice, Elizah, I immediately thought that I've heard that voice somewhere on a podcast. I'm kind of old so my mind for identifying names isn't as sharp as it once was, and I can't quite put my finger on who it is you remind me of. But for now, I'm thinking maybe it reminds me of a male version of Caitlyn Cooper.

Is that a good thing? I was wondering what you guys thought about my mic quality and other things I could potentially improve on.

Finally got around to listening. Great job. Good pace, pleasant sounding voices, will look out for more.
Also love the homage to Jerry, one of my favorite sports figures of all time.
