I am really thinking we should stay in 7th place and beat injured Warriors in playoffs. If we climb to 4-5 and play OKC even with home court advantage we will struggle. 6th seed and playing Portland is better, but 7th and feasting on bandaged Curry less Warriors seems like no brainer.
Would be DAF to target the 7th spot by intentionally losing then somehow slip and fall out of the playoffs. No point in worrying about that. Just focus on winning every game, and we'll cross the playoffs bridge once we come to it.

I'm sure the FO and the players will be looking to win games at every opportunity.
Nah, Curry missing first round 100%.Or actually end up facing a healthy GSW and get swept. No point to that sort of anxiety. Let's just focus on what's in front of us.
I agree that we want to win every game and that 7th spot would be hard to target specifically. But I think it would offer us best chance of advancing, unless OKC drops and we end up playing Spurs or Wolves as 4th seed.Would be DAF to target the 7th spot by intentionally losing then somehow slip and fall out of the playoffs.

Since Gobert's return (18W 26L) :
1L, 1W, 1L, 11W ; (30W 28L)
1L, 1W, 1L, 9W ; (40W 30L)
1L, 1W, 1L, 1W... ; (42W 32L)
Logically, Jazz will win the next 6 games.
They will then finish the season 49-33, win their first round series 4-1 after losing the first game, win their second round series 4-2, the conference finals 4-3, then lose in the finals 1-4.
Why would we lose vs Toronto after beating all Western conference?
Dame is playing so well right now he almost scares me as much as facing Houston.
Yes, Portand is probably more beatable, but they are really locked in. Playing in their city scares me too.
I feel a lot more confident with gasp GS? WTF is wrong with me.
Exactly. Jazz **** their pants against Atlanta and now Boston. TBH, I'm now hoping for a Clipper renaissance so Utah at least has a chance at a top-3 pick. This team ain't going nowhere with the scrubs Utah has masquerading as shooters. Good gawd, the Utah offense is an abomination at times. Stevens has weapons even with multiple stars hurt; Quin has cast-offs.Make the playoffs first. No sense in worrying about matchups until they’re in for sure.
