Jazz after both Knight and Kanter

I dont really understand why people would want Millsap traded? He is a perfect asset for this team with a perfect contract deal. Not freakin 14 million a year. And with zero ego he may accept to come off the bench while young players start which is something Jefferson would never accept. I honestly see it very unnecessary to keep Jefferson unless we dont draft Kanter. I watched more than 50 jazz games last year and he didnt give me the feeling he can be a reliable guy to build the future of the team. (Not in the extent of health but his skills. He basicaly is unable to use his talents effectively due to lack of basketball iq)
Even in offensive end, thats his best side, he is limited. With a bad looking mid range jump shot he will be too limited to his post moves, so how much depth he can add to the team offense in playoffs? As we all saw this years playoffs, versatile players are more legitimate in nba anymore who can add to every side of the game (like hayward). Im not even gonna comment about his defense.
I dont say millsap is smthng like Garnett or Shaq, but he is a very effective player with the current contract and its a very high probability he will be willing to stay around the same money after his contract is over. But jefferson will not accept anythng below 13-14 again which is a complete waste of money. We wasted a lot of money already on Kirilenko, we dont need to do that again for someone who isnt gonna take us anythng near championship

I would certainly give jefferson, 12th pick n bell or whatever to get knight and kleiza. Knight may be very important player for us in future and Kleiza is a very useful player in contrary to what people thinks. He had an unlucky injury and sit out most of the season, but he had very good performance in 2010 world championship n was very ready to play this year, just it was unlucky he was injured so badly. He could either be a very good bench player or decent starter

Didn't read the whole thread, so apologies if this has been brought up (I'm sure it has). Milsap and 12 for Kleiza and 5 is too much. I don't expect whoever we get at 5 to become better than Sap and 12 has far more potential than Kleiza. Harris and 12 for 5 and Kleiza would be great, however. Raptors get a proven pg as well as a good piece to build around at 12.

As has been mentioned above, Milsap is the perfect veteran for our team, if he accepts a sixth man role. He is the perfect age and will be in his prime by the time this team starts showing its portential, wheras Harris will be slowing down from here on out, IMO. To move up 7 spots by moving a player who should, IMO, not be a part of our long term future, and a rotation player at 12, would be a huge win for us.
