Probably because no one takes you seriously. Your thread is not intended to facilitate discussion but to make a point--a point you've made hundreds of times already. You don't like black men who don't act white (aka 'hoppers). We get it, or better said, we got it hundreds of posts ago.
 
Carolina, this reminds me of the thread you did years ago that the whole league was about to go bankrupt. A few accurate tidbits mixed in with a lot of inaccurate speculation doesn't equal truth. You simply missed on this one. Keep looking.

I think Revenue Sharing will help us out if it gets tough financially, and gotta think that if the Wolves and Bucks can survive in their respective locales, so can we... Hayward has not indicated he wants to leave, btw. Your talking out your john brown-hind parts, because he hasn't said anything indicating he wants to leave. the notion is strictly predicated upon your incredulity regarding his desire to be in Utah. That's no way to make a valid argument. Also, I was under the impression you were one of the better posters here. Seriously.
 
Two things:

1 - The Millers have made hundreds of millions, if not over a billion dollars, off the Jazz franchise and the goodwill that brought. They would be crazy to leave.

2 - Even if they did leave, there would be at least 5 franchises BEGGING to come here. You don't think Minnesota, Sacramento, NO/Char, Toronto, Milwaukee, Memphis would LOVE to come here? This isn't Seattle where interest waned and no one wanted to fund a stadium.

So, in other words, we will have a team, whether it is the Jazz or some other name.

Maybe because I don't give a damn if the Jazz leave Utah? I want them to move to Las Vegas -- close enough to go to games, big market $$ help them win championships.

If Sac, can't leave, the NBA won't let the Miller's leave. Besides, what would they do with the ESA if they left? It's not like other cities where the city owns the arena. The Millers would be turning a profit MACHINE into an empty building. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
 
Whatever this years attendance #'s look like, go ahead and compare them with the rest of the NBA. They will still look healthy. With the losing this season, many fans will panic. The smart ones won't. The Jazz have spent decades building goodwill with their fans. The logical fan understands and even embraces what the orginization is doing this year. The hiring of Lindsay and the decision to let the young guys play this year will lead to the Jazz having many, many more comfy years in Utah.

You are actually right on many points if this was some other hometown we're talking about. But I wouldn't worry about the attendance numbers if I were you.

The team is having some inexperiencedness-related problems with their game-closer set plays on both coaching level and roster level. Even that last game ending with a win will -believe it or not- fire up many sorrowed fans as well as the young players that tasted their 1st win without Big Al or Millsap supporting them (Although there was some great effort by R.J and the Wet Bandit).

So I say you just wait until these guys learn to assist each other on the floor better. I have never seen another NBA franchise whose fan base support them with so much passion and pure love, willing to spend their nights shouting at home games regardless their personal schedules and stuff.

Utah is in a secure zone of having an NBA team regardless the financial state of the franchise. It looks like a real profit.

Utah's real problem is the attitude. They need to step out of the small market-big market talk and set their heads towards the able-ness of winning a championship. Tanking for superstars is a way to do it. But the first term is for the young players and the coach to be wild and vicious about winning. Believe me, if the Heat can do it after all those years, the Jazz can line a few consecutive ones one day. It's not a dream or smth.

...if they moved to Las Vegas, they'd be number one spot for free agents! All kinds of big time vises to enjoy and engage in there! How far is Salt Lake from Vegas anyway? Amazing what a few hundred miles can mean to an NBA franchise!
 
In order to have a viable franchise that makes money you have to have 2 things: 1) A competitive team. 2) A watchable product. The Jazz have neither and will not be changing that anytime soon! Who is going to pay good money to watch a team that is going to struggle to win 10 games a season the next 3 or 4 years? Who is going to pay good money to watch a "product" that struggles night in and night out to make 35% of there shots and regularly has more turnovers than assists? NOBODY! ESPN won't put the Jazz on T.V. nor will TNT more than once or twice a year! Heck, they barely put us on during the Stockton and Malone era!

You've stated your opinion, loud and clear. Nobody agrees with you, but I think we all know you well enough to accept that engaging you in any kind of debate about it is absolutely pointless. Personally, I believe someone who deliberately antagonizes an entire forum the way you've consistently done over the years should be banned, but whatever. Can we all move on from this stupid thread, or is there something else you want to say?
