Highly unlikelyI think they think they're gonna get LeBron.
With PG re-upping in OKC this becomes even more of a likelihood..

The difference is that there were reports that several other teams were prepared to offer Ingles at least as much as the Jazz did, and I believe Orlando was going to offer him even more than the Jazz. That's not the case with Favors, there just isn't much of a market for him. Paying a guy way over his market value seems like a bad way to do business, especially for a small market team like the Jazz.
But the Jazz are not signing a big FA this year so they will probably sign him for a fair deal and then use their MLE to attract a free agent. As I said, I don't see DL maximizing his leverage with Favors. So what is his market value? Is it determined by this year's unique dry market for big men? is it based on his projected production?. You don't offer 6 or 8M just because suitors are few and money is shrinking. There are other factors to consider, especially how the Jazz want to be perceived by potential free agents. Sure, the Jazz is not going to overpay but is not going to squeeze a guy either. We will try strike a deal that works for both, not just the Jazz from a financial perspective. Feel free to disagree, that's how I see it.
Business is business. You don't give millions away cause it's a nice thing to do. Especially since he was always hurt until he gets into a contract year. He's not a perfect fit next to Rudy. If he was a good shooter he'd be worth 15 mil.

In most years he's on 2 different teamsthis guy is on a different team each year lol. Bucks getting ready to say goodbye to Jabari?
Harris I liked for part of the MLE, but the full deal? Ouch. Some of these signings will be just like 2016 all over again. They’ll look even more terrible two years from now.Joe Harris - 2 year 16 mill. Nets
Doug McDermott - 3 year, 22 mill, Pacers
He just had his best season this year. So that is incorrect. His best season might have been last year, that is a decent argument. He was incredible this year. Those are the kind of head scratching deals I've been talking about. I really don't understand. Thabo's best days were behind him 2-3 seasons ago.
If he is the same player as last year that is an incredibly good deal.I will pretty disappointed if we spend $5.25 on Thabo for this season. That's an incredibly bad value. Sign him to a 2 year deal for a combined $5.25 instead.

Philly just lost 2 of there major players. 2 of the shooters that made Simmons look good. Simmons unless philly finds new shooters, he will be exposed next year.
